Might have been worth taking the sausage meat out of the casing and combined it with the mince beef then it woulda crisped up a bit and not be so mushy? Dunno just an idea 😁

Spending a lot of money on a rubbish product. It is edible but is not equal to the other ingredients. Give them to a dog you don't like.

The leftover unwanted ASDA J/E sausages issue is resolved. That's a pretty good cheap knock together meal you've created Keith. Definitely a gut warmer for a cold English night. I'd never thought of a side of baked beans for a hotpot. It's always been mash potatoes and green beans for me. Another fine meal. Cheers Keith and Nat 👍🤤😀

Not for me :( those sausage are full with anything but meat. For value of money and yummy 90% pork sausage try Costco. Admitted you have to buy in bulk but my family go once a month and buy our sausage, bacon, black pudding and mince and split them between our four families. Very tasty and cost effective.

Those sausages are already a sausage sandwich, just dip in ketchup. So much bread (rusk) I was very poor once and made a pizza sandwich. So much bread. Same as those sausage. I managed with those in a gravy granules and onion gravy, then bunged the sausage it. Leave to set like a jelly and reheat. Texture you can't recover unless you cook them to FK first.
