Im removing the carpet out of mine right now, but, why did she go back with carpet instead of the other options?

She prefers the look and feel of carpet to the more industrial appearance of the vinyl products that are more popular now. She also suspected the carpet would result in people being less likely to slip while walking when the surface is wet.
