17:08 Fun fact: The devs thought they had made "Nothing There" so strong that no one would be able to beat it, so they never made a death animation for the abnormality. That's why he just kind of pops out of existence once his HP hits zero.

In some of the game's versions he turns into a tiny sprite of his egg form. This was eventually turned into canon lore, with abnos transforming into an egg-like form upon being suppressed

The SCP universe is almost a paradise when compared with Lobotomy / Project Moon universe. Scratch that, even living in the Imperium and toil away in the mines is probably better than some of the stuff going on in that world. Like I am not even joking.

SCP researchers don't have any qlithoth deterrence nor any singularities to even detain abnormalities... so yeah, they would be pretty fucked and that's not even mentioning The Stream which would be actually uncontainable and could cause who knows what kind of horror to leak into reality whenever.

@narkle9723 Well, I mean since the abnormalities are in the most complicated sense of "technicalities", reality benders, the foundation has Scranton Reality anchors.

@aceofspades2923 SRAs are known to fail often, especially against powerful targets. The community moved away from the catch-all anti-reality benders stuff because people used to abuse it as a MacGuffin. So now SRAs are nerfed.

Angela just borked this playthrough with mods, this game is brutal both gameplay and lore-wise. The City is probably one of the most grimdark settings in fiction, from mercenary Associations to brutal street gangs to the merciless megacorps and reality-defying distortions. I 100% recommend you get into the lore rabbit hole.

The game is not as happy as this. This version is absolutely fk'd with mods. Still pretty interesting vanilla, and does have it's goofiness every now and then.

some of the stuff in the game is modded in, but a lot of it isn't like the Censored SCP, Slime SCP, or some of the wild lore and the English translation of SCP names and most of the text
