I really want us to keep hold of Yankuba Minteh. Everything I’ve seen of him shows him to be a very dedicated young lad who is wise beyond his years. In the Africa cup of Nations. He was the player to defuse a huge kick off between his team and whoever they were playing. I was so impressed with this young lad half the size of these players who were pushing each other around. Just walk in and defuse the situation. At least give him a season at the club and see how he performs in the premier league.

If we get rid of minteh I'm fucking done, what's the point anymore. He's a young. Brilliant talent and if we can't keep him after not even kicking a ball for us then I can't be fucked anymore. Iv looked forward to seeing him back with us for most of the year

My understanding is the 20% sell on clause is on profit so there would be nothing to pay to City. I think they are holding out for the 18.5 million they paid for him

If we are in for him, and it's a big if- I wouldn't worry about him being left footed. John Terry, one of the best right footed CBs ever, played consistently on the left side or his 'wrong' side. I really don't think it matters that much

Honestly the fact we are going after a position that we don't need isn't the best sign... Seems like we are just trying to get the best talent we can now with the cash we have... I see no chance we pick up Olise... I just wish we would focus on Chiesa. IMO Chiesa is the perfect fit for this team. The guy has a very high work rate and is unselfish from what I've seen. He would fit in perfect with the makeup of this team and I think Newcastle fans would love him... To me he's a more highly skilled Miggy... I watched a lot of Juve last season... Being an American I watch a lot of games Americans abroad play in...

we need to be looking at Chiesa. If we can sell Minteh and get Chiesa that would be immense. Yes Minteh may be a superstar but we have to make soe short term decisions also. also no chance we are getting Olise - never gonna happen. I expect Palace to be a solid contender next season.

@DarkArterialGore Adeyemi has been a target for a long time, and Moukoko...Both left footed right attackers with huge growth ceiling and European experience already. If Dortmund want Mineh then they must be expecting Adeyemi movement this summer
