Surprisingly nice considering how close it is to Denver and RMNP. Well taken care of.

For such a heavy use campground when you visited is seems to have been about 1/2 full . Did you visit midweek in September? Camper/RV secret: Rock Creek Tavern /Pizza in Allenspark has great food and much closer than driving all the way into Estes Park.

We camped at Olive Grove in the summer of 2015 and the couple next to us left their food outside in plastic containers with predictable results. A bear tore up their campsite apart and the campground got closed down. Idiots.
