This is and always will be Oliver's song. His rendition of the song gives glory to God. God gave a blessing to all of us when He granted Oliver with a truly wonderful gift ... an amazing singing voice! Oliver really seemed to be living the song just as though he was "in the early morning rain" longing to be on that 707 jet plane and going to be with his loved ones back there at his home. I saw this Ed Sullivan episode with Oliver back then. I have enjoyed listening to Oliver's performance hundreds of times and I love it more and more each time I listen to it. Thank you so much Oliver! RIP. ⭐️
