I think odric could use a blood token outlet. For example, sacrifice a blood token to give target creature specific ability until end of turn. It wouldn’t be op, but it would give attack and defense utility

Why did Ethan keep fighting the Massacre Wurm instead of Olivia? Her reanimate adds the exile if you don't have a legendary vampire, so either Massacre Wurm gets exiled or to prevent that Matt would have to sac it, but that's still a 2 for 1

So around 9:15 or so Chandler sac’s his spore frog to (according to the narrator) dodge the life loss from massacre wurm. This was super weird for several reasons1.) because spore frog only negates combat damage, 2.) massacre wurm is life loss(not damage, or combat damage for that matter) 3.) Chandler still loses the life either way. Why not hold up the frog? Maybe he saw Toxrill coming because of the mana drain mana and wanted to limit the slugs.

Does a card that says destroy all creatures or a board wipe of that sort also destroy the casters creatures?

Yes. It'll destroy every creature on the battlefield, including your own. There are some board wipes that state otherwise. For example, In Garruk's Wake says "Destroy all creatures and planeswalkers you don't control". So the caster's creatures will be safe.

I'm very glad Odric worked here. When I saw him, I was first disappointed, but then realized he's actually fairly decent gas for an artifact/reanimator build. He's one of those commanders where he's not ESSENTIAL to the gameplan, but he gives enough benefit to make it worth running him at the front. Yes, you need keyword soup to get the most, but even just a Swiftfoot boots on a creature will give you enough. I do agree that it's a bit of a flavor fail and should've been on a different character (nothing about this Odric screams master of the battlefield), but the card itself really isn't as bad as you'd think if you can get over that flavor fail.

Spore Frog was misplayed. Wurm isn’t combat damage, so saccing Spore Frog doesn’t prevent the damage

He sacrificed spore frog before massacre wurm and its -2/-2 ability resolved to save 2 life. He still lost 2 when his changeling died, so I don't think there was actually a misplay.
