Thank you! This was exactly what I've been looking for. I've recently started doing more video work and I was disappointed to see there was no cage specifically for my E-M1 Mk3. Smallrig has a great reputation and for around $100 US I will be adding this to my kit as I expand my video/filmmaking work.

I have one, it is my favorite rig (I have one for Sony a73 and BMPC4K). This rig is small enough that I can leave it on, even when I am doing photography. Beautiful video Jimmy!

You are right, that's why I said this cage is so cool. Arca Swiss base is a bonus, I can mount it on tripod or even my gimbal without having to do other conversions. Thanks and glad you liked my video.

I too have the new cage for the OM-1. Unlike the previous one for the Mark II, it is not four sided (there are no attachment points near the photographer’s right hand. However, there are ample attachments points on the top (nano rails for off axis flash, etc. and left hand side for a handle with a mic on top. I do a lot of long telephoto wildlife photography and 4K video with the rig on. It is very handy for macro work and night flash stills of owls.

Great video Jimmy. Entertaining but also full of detail and informative. One thing that puts me off is that the arca Swiss plate runs across the width of the camera body, but my tripod fluid head requires the tripod plate to run perpendicular to the camera body. So I can’t literally slide darker Swiss base of the cage onto my tripod head. What is the little piece that you have in between them? Or do you just not use the Arca Swiss feature of the cage?

I love the mini cage, and it works perfectly on the EM1 M2. I have it combined with the Smallrig 3765 top handle.

Yes, it does fit mark II and III. It may not be as snugged as OM-1 as they are slightly different in shapes, but the cage will work.

Oh cool, a video about someone! Okay, I see his name, but who is he? Oh, he makes tea. This is a video about tea. No, wait, he's putting on an apron and working on leather... is this about tea or leather? I'm seeing lots of leatherwork... maybe it's about leatherwork. Wait, there's the mug! Maybe it is about tea... nope, it looks like it was just about leather. Why would you start a video about leatherwork with 25 seconds of tea? What on earth does the fact that he likes tea, or how he makes it, have to do with his leathercraft? Videos should grab attention right away, not waste time, and not confuse the viewer as to what they're about. It would be far better if the video started with him putting on his apron and getting to work.
