There is a company over here in the USA called Diesel Power Source they have a VGT turbo of their own design that can be controlled both electronically or manually. It's to large for your engine but a smart man in Europe could make one I'm sure. Changing the size of the turbine via the VGT would give you both low end torque and top end power.

Hi, i know some people using vgt turbos on those engines. Also some huge holset vgts, but the powerband never looks like as i would need it on the track. I recently have seen a dyno sheet from om605 with a small gtx gen2 turbo and it was looking very promising. So i think this setup now will be working perfectly ✌

Been looking through your videos and must say I’ve gotten a lot of questions that I had answered. Been looking at making changes on my turbo setup and was looking at the same turbo for my OM606 setup, just had one question that you didn’t answer in this video. Did you get the 300-400Nm at 1.5 to2k rpm as you were expecting? How is the turbo at lowers rpm torque and power wise.

Did you ever run this turbo what sort of bhp and lag did you have? I’ve got a gt3582r wanting 450bhp but worried it’s too big for street use garrets website tells me to run a gtx3071r but worried it’s too small

can i use the orginal turbo manifold and the orignal turbo oil hoses and fitting if fitted for 350 hp doy uo recond ?

I definitely would recommend to upgrade to a bigger manifold from 350hp upwards. Kangaroos team has a very nice and cheap option for a t3 maifold

@@CZSMotorsport change of plans not, im going to be running a he221w with dpuk manifold adapter, do you recon the internal waste gate will be fine ? it will be around 250-280hp, stock trans and 6mm turbo pump

Someones uses stock manifold with that T3 adapter, HX 40 Super 16, 2,5 bar 462 RWHP. 500HP at flywheel.
