I love how vividly clear you made it as to how hurt you could be if it got out of whack. I've actually seen what happens to a bell housing when a clutch assembly fails. Not pretty at all, and I knew the person driving the truck it happened in. He got injured but was lucky enough that he didn't lose any limbs. Absolutely agree spinning bits Loctite non-spinning bits anti seize and torque down

Similar question, as found below, but this time from the U. S. I love to hear the engine rattle, but I also want it to run smooth, efficient, a bit extra power (maybe 250hp to 300hp), very dependable, no black smoke, mate up to an 8HP70 trans, and ride off into the next 500 km, without much likelihood of fail!

Great vid. Question: any advice / comments on engine mounts when repowering a full size chevy pickup with a 606 that had an LS or a SBC? Do you know if the mounts need te fabbed or can / do you sell those??

Can I mate the OM606 to my w460 1983 GE280 5 speed manual transmission? Do I need an adaptor or will it fit? I want to put an HX35/40 on it. Is it strong enough by itself or do I need a new clutch and/or flywheel? If so which one? I know this is completely off topic and other than being diesel wizards I know you are also Mercedes wizards and your adapter has made me think to ask here. I have a w211 e320cdi straight 6 like the one you got 400hp out of. My car won't drive anymore no matter what gear I select. D or R or tip tronic. Is there anything it could possibly be before I swap my gearbox. I have another waiting to go in but I'm worried if I get it changed and its still not fixed. Any advice or information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you and absolutely love your work and really hope to get my car to you for work in the future

the second you go offroading with a om606 the starter will fail, make shure all seals have a little bit of silicone on them ore dirt will get in

Dont say the word flexplate its making me sad😂 my 380 bhp 335d has been off the road for a year due to flex plate rattle and cant bring my self to do it on my drive💀 im an ex transmission specialist and know its going to be days of swearing and oily bloody nuckles😂 gonna bite the bullet and pay someone with a ramp to do it soon

Proper kit from a true pro! I have a 1972 Ford LTD land yacht. But has a 400 smog motor. I know what needs to be done to get over 500 hp. Do you do a adaptor plate for the Ford 400 transmission.
