I think he was disgusted by the fact that he missed the first pressure kick in the first place. Keep in mind the fumbled extra point. A hallmark of nfl football is precision in the field goal kicking game. Special teams used to be a point of pride of nfl players. Bud grant of the Viking said defense was the most important, then special teams, then offense. I always thought that was hyperbole, now I really think he lived that. This game will now be dubbed the Lazarus Game because the Broncos were dead after the first missed kick at the end of the game and then they were granted the Lazarus kick which brought them back to life. This victory of biblical proportion should go right along with the Holly Roller Game and the Immaculate Reception game.
