You have to start off small steps. I prayed and read self help books. I gleaned small things like you have to choose whether you want to be Happy or Win the argument. You can't have both. Doesn't matter whether it's a person you know or a person bullying you in traffic. Just bow out. Let them win until you discipline yourself. Overtime the Joy will come when you realize. Your in charge of you. And your not allowing your buttons to be pushed. Biblically there's a scripture that says. Blessed is a person who can overlook an offense. The Joy of the Lord is my strength. I meditate on this daily to prep my self up. Hope this helps 🙏🙏🙏
