In the movie, Cooler hits goku with a beam first to distract him, and then he charges up the super nova very quickly that's why it's a beam.

I think it's kind of a shame that after the effort they took to make Supernova more unique and accurate to the movie, they gave Base form Death Ball as the ultimate (something he never did, not to mention generic) instead of Chaotic Dead End from the Raging Blast games

The thing with Base Cooler's Ultimate in RB2, it is in the Game... And it's Final Form's Death Beam, which is taken from FZ which by itself was taken from Base Cooler's Ultimate in RB2 (Or at least the shot in the movie)

Somewhat agree would be cool to have super move set changed but I think they did a good job with coolers death ball. He really sells it with the dialogue and the camera work as the ball goes from the tip of his finger into a large ball.

"Fake Energy Blast" is what he did on Goku, creating a smokescreen covering up him forming a Supernova instantly. Beam into Supernova is how he did it in the movie.

Tbf, dialogue has always been Cooler's selling point in these games. Mecha Sonic was given Cooler's BT3 voice clips for a reason.

I like how the VA (Andrew Johnson?) gave Coola a bit more of a refined Freeza flavour in his performance here too (which mirrors the Japanese version too, where both Coola AND Freeza are voiced by Ryusei Nakao).

I like how they decided to have the beam to Super Nova to reference the movie. It makes the move stand out from the previous games. I wish instead of a finger beam, they gave him another move referencing the movie like how he moved through the Kamehamehame to slam Goku and whatnot.

It's crazy how he's almost a total downgrade of his moveset in Raging Blast 2, especially with regards to his first form. Even Death Chaser looks wonkier than its counterpart in that game, with Cooler's final stomp looking really stiff.

I was shocked when I saw that Chaotic Dead End didn’t return from RB2. Seems like they prioritized BT moves above all else outside of brand new shit and I think it makes some characters like Cooler and Imperfect Cell suffer as a result.

The only improvement I'd suggest would be to make "Chaotic Dead End" (the move he used to finish off Piccolo) be base Coola's Ultimate Blast, like it was in the Raging Blast games. "Death Ball" is cool and animated well, but it's kinda redundant because he already has a Death Ball-like move via the Supernova in his Final Form and Metal Coola versions (and, of course, Freeza already has Death Ball). Other than that, it's a perfect moveset. Spike really cooked here.

I really wish Final Form Supernova wasnt triggeres from a Beam. It makes combos less fun imho and you cant clash with the Nova itself, only the beam. Also doesnt play the cutscene on giants the rush is cool but needs more reaction from the hits

It's pretty weird how both Frieza and Cooler's transformations are slightly worse compared to Raging Blast. Cooler's Final Form in RB2 was simply perfect, here it seems both sped up and lacking in slight details. As for the moveset itself, "Chaotic Dead End" should've been kept as his ultimate and have "Death Flash" as the name of his FPEW. Supernova is really cool, although it lost that last close up when he makes it explode from RB2.

Strange that they gave his final form psychokinesis, his base already has it, they are basically making less unique moveset by that. Also i dont like that his base form has death ball as ultimate, they shouldve just used his rb2 moveset tbh. Replace his flasher with death ball, and give his rb2 ultimate. Also change his final form's death beam to flasher, cause it looks more powerful, and would make his moveset more unique.

They got lazy with these Ultimates for Cooler Lack of Cinema Death Ball isn't Cinematic(Shame cause that Death Ball is the coolest looking Death Ball I've ever seen. Just not the attack) The Supernova isn't. They start off cinematic. The Intro cutscenes. But the actual attacks, the things that are supposed to be Cinematic aren't cinematic. They NEEDED the Landing Cutscenes

I just want to say that no Cooler is not cooler than Freeza. He's Freeza without any of the aspects that makes him interesting. His fifth form however is cooler than Freeza's golden form. It's an actual change and not just stupid looking palate swap.
