I love exterminator Morgan. I aspire to be more like her. She was happy with her life, even when society considered her job and life a lesser one. It's only when she started caring about societal expectations (aka comparing herself to vet rich Morgan) that she started to feel bad about herself. It really bought a new perspective to my life, it's something I always knew, but that it never clicked. Also the twist in the end is so good.
@gregt7223 жыл бұрын

My sister is a vet tech, not quite a vet, but I totally wanted to get into vet school too. But just like Morgan, the exam is hard, you have to, like, know all the animals. I do get jealous of my sister sometimes, but I really enjoy my job, and I'm really happy with my life. I totally would have seeded her place with cockroaches or bedbugs though! Much more invasive than a dead animal in the car, and harder to trace back to me.

Well done, Alison! (Side note: I’m gobsmacked! This is my life! Except that he’s still alive and she’s a fantastic human whom I’ve yet to meet face to face. ) Loved it! Loved the performances, the writing, and the message. Thank you for your work.

Wow and here I thought that I was one of the only *real* people to ever think, " Who wrote my life?" Except mine is more tragedy than comedy and way too much to even summarize in a you tube comment. Although the secret family belonged to my biological Grandmother, whom I never met but she abandoned 2 children and then went on to marry some big shot rich guy and have a son. She passed away without ever telling him or rich husband that she has other kids but the other kids knew ALL about the new family. My life was more like ' healthy one minute, gonna die from some freakish thing the next' , ' how can that many awful things happen to you in a row?' and ' how did you survive growing up that way?' kind of stuff. But hey now that most of my family is dead, I can finally write the novel without feeling guilty. I'm sorry that part of your life resembled a screenplay. I am very glad that you have such a good outlook on the situation and I hope that one day you will be able to meet your sibling. Best of luck to you!

I just read this quote today: "happiness is about not comparing yourself to others", which I do constantly lately and didn't notice it as a problem. And now this. I think I have to watch it again.

You inspired me tonight! I absolutely adore this film. It hit a rough spot on me and soothe it away. I have been watching lots of short films and this is excellent! Love the characters and definitely I identify with the first Morgan! Keep up the good work! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Really quick, the cut on the face, great touch. Says more about the main character than anything she could say verbally. Well done. More episodes we could find out what was the gift from Brandi. Hope this gets picked up.

What a pleasant short story! I'd like to see it being made into a full movie.
