Good job Alison. Your film was sweet, and both characters were likable. You and your costar were able to anchor the bizarre in reality, giving endearing performances. So many great lines, but "LOVE YOUR PILES" slayed.

Ya done good. It was the little touches like the bad lipstick job, and keeping her cash in the fridge that really made this. Oh, okay, and the writing and directing and acting, too. You're a peach!🍑

@@tiffanyvalencia8415 that's a bad way to look at it my girl, because you see all these socially awkward women commenting things like "omg that's so meeee." well guess what? there's probably just as many introverted and awkward men out there struggling with the same thing so how are they supposed to get relationships if being "not brave enough" means they're "not worth a relationship of any kind." you have to be fair when approaching this topic, we're all humans with flaws...

Pretty impressive range from this actress. Enid goes from anxious, gawky and undesirable- to quite cute and spunky and even rather fetching with great ease. Hope to see more from her.

Nooo! Why did this short have to end? I was getting into it sooo much! I can't believe how much I loved it. I actually passed on watching it when it came out but then went back to watch it anyway. So glad I did. Masterful work done by the whole team!

I remember this actress was in another Omeleto showcase that I enjoyed. The story of a girl finding out that her dad had another family and the other girl was a better version of her. It was sweet and funny, just like this. Edit: Thanks to @Ed Wilson "The Other Morgan" was the name of it.

Allison, this short film was beyond perfect. Everything, the writing, the acting, the comic timing and delivery, the costumes, the characters. the apartment, the camera work, and the editing, was so so awesome. Instant subscription. can't wait for the next and will be going back to watch what I have missed! Thanks for making me laugh out loud throughout the entire film.

@@AlisonStuff Was that you in the video? If so, you were outstanding! The writing, the acting, all of it was spot on. Know what it sort of reminded me of? Do you remember that show _Pushing Up Daisies?_ For some reason, this video was reminiscent of that show. Not the storyline, of course - but the style - superficially kinda quirky, but with real emotion just under the surface. Man, I _loved_ that show!! And, I loved this video. 🥰

It's so hard to actually see enough short films to get to know what you like so you end up building up this idea of what a good short film should be that by the time you actually meet one you're so nervous you won't appreciate it that you just stop watching them all together. I've probably watched maybe 20 or so Omeleto stories, but this is the first one I have re-watched. It was so much fun and I loved the dialog. As others have said, the main characters were so relatable and I didn't want the story to end!

This was really good! Those are two great actors, the message was great, the dialogue was spot on, the filming was perfect. It was only 15 minutes long but I feel like I've just watched a full length movie!

I can't quite get past the fact that dude says his own name wrong in the first few seconds. :P LOL Besides that tiny little nitpick... this was absolutely brilliant. I laughed a lot. I cried multiple times. The dialogue is brilliantly written, poignant and relatable... the ending is perfect. I absolutely loved this!

Love seeing a nice short movie like this, totally unpretentious with likable actors. Great job in writing, filming and acting! Best part: the story is sorta predictable, but that doesn't matter at all because it is enjoyable throughout.

This is so incredibly sweet, and big-hearted, and warm, but it's got that wonderful "sleeper" quality - you know it's good while you're watching it, but it's after, when you're thinking about it [and you will be] that you realize just how sweet, and big-hearted, and warm it is. All those solid gold qualities, without them being obtrusive or overdone. Thank you Alison Rich and George Basil; you absolutely utterly nailed it. I will be looking for you in other roles, and for more of Alison's screenplays. And I hope I find more productions with you playing opposite one another, because you click wonderfully.

@@AlisonStuff I kinda get the vibe they're becoming BFFs, but seeing how the genre is rom-com, I can also see them as lovers. Maybe if this short being made into a series, they can end up as lovers. But in the mean time, I think they're becoming BFFs.

That was fantastic! Alision did an awesome job straddling the entertaining/exaggerated line, like with the makeup which was good but just slightly off, but not so far as to do the cliche of lipstick running across the side of the face. And I love the I'm successful! I have a job 'manipulating amazon reviews'. That would fit right into IASIP

Very endearing. Hollywood could learn from this, so much character development in 15 minutes with a great storyline and great acting. Loved it.

omg! I love this! I saw this woman (the short girl) a long time ago in College Humor and she was HILARIOUS (as the girl that overshared). She's great!!!!!!! More of these! I'm officially going down an Omeleto hole now lol

I LOVE THIS and had such great time watching this short film. The acting is smooth too (but what do i know about professional acting, i just know i enjoyed it very much)
