Keith It’s gene from face book here get the trans tune in it ASAP from Livernois . It takes it to another level. You don’t get the weird pause and skip shift in the lower gears. It shifts faster and firmer. and it raises the rev limit about 700rpm. I thought ours was fast on e85 but the trans tune makes a world of difference on top of the e85. Trust me. The hawk does not care about spinning 👍 once you get the trans tune. It makes the entire package. Trust me brother. Very happy you are listening and sticking with the AWD dyno. too many xfer case failures after people put them to 2wd. Haven’t see one fail yet on awd dynos 👍

When you data log it, that pause is the ecu pulling timing from the shifts. Thats what makes the trans live longer.

It is but the trans in these is rated for 900ftlbs. None of the ones with the trans file have failed with multiple passes. It makes a world of difference. Because it moved the shift point up in the rpm the trans still shifts fast and smooth. But it also shifts slightly firmer. We all know slip on the trans is what burns up the bands in a auto. A firmer shift in a auto is actually better then one that slips slightly especially under power. There are a few hawks out there that have experienced the tb slamming closed on the 1-2 shift. I cant recommend the trans tune enough. It makes the entire package. It’s not an aggressive tune like you think it is. It feels like it was developed all as one car from the factory. You need to ride in one with the trans tuning 👍
