I hate that some people are judging these parents when they don’t know the first things about their struggles and lives. You don’t know their situation at all. Child care costs more than rent and the father said he stays home, so the mom could work. The father could have Depression or Social Anxiety or any other type of personal health disorder, they don’t want to talk about with the whole world. If these parents could work I believe they would. They don’t like struggling and letting down their children, and if you think they do you shouldn’t even bother watching. Bless this nice young man Kofi for not acting completely entitled, and that goes for all of the young men I’ve seen on these episodes. All well mannered, kind, respectful and caring young men which is beautiful to see. God bless everyone involved, they have all been kind families as well with the same qualities. It’s really nice to watch and learn from them all. Love and Blessings to the U.K. …

I think it was the producers idea. Every show has the rich kid going out and doing a day or weeks shopping for the family. This is the first time I’ve seen them use a large supermarket vs the neighbourhood grocery store. The idea is to get the rich kid to think of shopping with a small budget. At least the family thanked him when he paid his own money after going over budget (small money to him) and commended him for remembering the ham slices they had at home and thinking about what could go with it. One rich girl (Olivia I think) used the calculator on her phone to add up prices as she shopped and then put some things back when she went over the budget.
