I like when the rich kids bring gifts for the families they're staying with. Shows good upbringing.
@lauriewu-jf5nh6 ай бұрын
I’ve only watched a few episodes so far but every rich kid has brought a gift at the start and again at the end. I’m pretty sure the show executives require it as every episode seems to have the same structure. All of the people on the shows I’ve watched so far have been very nice, both rich and lower income. I haven’t seen any really snobbish rich kids or any lazy families on benefits who smoke, drink and live in dirty homes (although I’m sure they exist).

@@justnette4151 , I believe in England they have to pay for their water usage and people are more careful about how much they use. The water company will shut down the supply if you don’t pay your bill and install a debit card reader for the water to come on. So some people have to save up money and tap the machine to run water. But it’s very old fashioned to wash dishes without a rinse, some people have a second tub of water to rinse all the dishes with the same water. I have seen that at cottages/ cabins or out of town properties that have septic systems.

Even if you are wealthy, I rarely encounter Muslims who are untrained in basic skills. It's essential to learn these things because, regardless of your wealth, you shouldn't appear spoiled. I'd buy want I want and live how I want comfortably without worry, and have multiple accounts, some off shore to ensure that if one goes kaputt, I'll have backup. It's fascinating... Fair play to Adil (a nice lad) and his dad for building up his business from nothing. But it seems sad that they spend their money on too many cars to use (and as Adil said, one he does not even like and has never used) and pretty horrible branded clothing (but I realise that is about personal taste)! They seem like decent people who have nothing to spend their money on except over-the-top displays of wealth. They could probably give three quarters of their money to charity and still have more than enough and enjoy a really wholesome life with everything they could ever want. I'm not hating, but their lifestyle just seems really empty somehow. Adil is really nice despite the stupid amounts of money, but that just makes me think even more that he could do something more meaningful with his life than flaunting wealth with absurdly expensive cars and branded clothing. If I had that much money, I can guarantee that the average person seeing me day-to-day would never even realise.

Obviously they’re kids (and rich ones at that!), they’re not going to take the initiative to learn. My only wish would be the stay be extended. Say one or two weeks. No quitting, no leaving, no sleeping in at hotel(except for health reasons), no spending their own money on unnecessary branded items; example Evian water vs regular bottled/filtered water, and no whinnying!
