Love the pitch modulation from it, that's just genius.

What?! How cool is this to have in hardware! Sweet module and great walkthrough and demo man 🍻

Ehi Omri, great thwt you are so helpful! I would be happy just to chat with you tbh, are you French by the way? I have some ideas of racks and patches but at the moment I lack the knowledge to translate it into an actual system! Still, you are a big part of the knowledge I got now, and I started playing with vcv rack full of Love. I remember through it that I just love sounds first of all!

Awesome video, thank you for sharing. I would like to get into the hardware side of Eurorack. Is there any manufacturer you like over the other?
@OmriCohen-Music10 ай бұрын
Thanks! I think that the beauty of Eurorack is that different manufacturers have different strengths, so it's fun to mix and match :)
@thewolfin10 ай бұрын
That is kinda the entire point - though you can sometimes encounter differences in standard that make interfacing trickier (voltages and cable/connector pinouts). If you wanna restrict yourself to a single manufacturer, maybe get a semi-modular like a Behringer Neuron, Moog Mother, etc. Easy starting point, and they can still be used with eurorack as your collection grows.

This is very nice indeed! Out of interest do you stick to certain keys or scales in your ambient patches as they always sound in tune with one another and a particular root key?
@OmriCohen-Music7 ай бұрын
Thanks :) I usually tune my oscillators to C, and then just use the minor pentatonic scale, but sometimes I will tune them to A or E to get a different feel. I also use the Miyako Bushi scale sometimes.

@@OmriCohen-Music thanks! Loving your training videos btw. Yesterday I built one of your patches, but sequenced from my Hapax, wow it was good. I just get clocking issues where the Hapax BPM is 110 and the Clock in VCV is halved at 55.
@OmriCohen-Music7 ай бұрын
@@G0nz0uk No worries :) Did you try using different multiplications of the clock? You can do this on the Midi module, and on Clocked by changing the CV mode.

Wonderful that innovations from VCV are being ported to hardware… Let’s hope Geodesics follow suit! What’s the quantiser you’re using? Very enjoyable video man, cheers!

Hi Omri! Great video as usual. Is the Track&Hold function also available in VCV version? tried to reproduce your tutorial in VCV rack, track and hold part but somehow stuck :-)
