I do remember from my youth that my Mini, although not the fastest in our group could always out corner everything, it was like a Kart, I never used the (drum) brakes, just used a four wheel drift to scrub speed where needed, she was a '62 with rock hard rubbercone suspension, lowered and with six inch Weller Super Magnum wheels, I could pretty much ignore corners, it was great.

Not a problem with the Mini, as far as I know, most parts are available. Even a complete new bodyshell.
