kind of bummed they removed brass, stainless, and aluminum. I wanted a black aluminum glider, or a dlc coated titanium glider, but they were sold out before I could buy one. Been waiting like 7 weeks since Will said he was updating the design, but I didn't expect this drastic of a change. Oh well.... Looks great, will probably sell like hotcakes.

What are your thoughts on size: Standard versus Short? Medium hand size and looking as a general office (non-EDC) application. Both appear to be capable of taking the Pilot G2 (with the Short requiring slight trimming). The Short appears to be long enough to feel like a full-size while shaving a little length and weight.

The short is honestly plenty long for dedicated desk duty but the Standard might feel a bit more well balanced in hand, hope that helps.

The Standard and Short models are super easy, so if you don't need the tiny Mini length, you could easily avoid any extra work.

Besides the clip, oring and obvious refill parts, are there any parts internally that aren't made of Titanium? Also, how would you rate this against the USG TiScribe? Thanks!

I can't answer for the OP, but I can answer from a usability standpoint. Do you prefer a more course grip, or are the finer ridges more your style? Do you wear thin-pocketed shirts? The USG clip has to stand off from the pen body or it will scratch during extension/retraction. In my eyes, while a novel design, it's not ideal for a pen you carry often in varying situations.

Looks very smooth and that's gonna be a problem with your hand sliding down with prolonged writing, so not for me.

No, the machining offers tons of texture to grip

Their pens actually have very fine ridges etched around them. They are not smooth even though they appear that way in most videos.

they are not smooth at all, has a very nice grip. as mentioned, they do look smooth on photos and videos, until you zoom in to see the texture. awesome pens!

The bolt will always become loose! Very disappointing
