I love how people are complaining about the price, yet it's main competitors (Rolls Royce Ghost EWB, Phantom/EWB, and Mulsanne) are hundreds of thousands more. In the phantoms case, double the price. Yet the Benz has the most tech, and (imo) the best interior. Just wished they distinguished it a bit more from the regular S. Because if it was my money, i'd probably just buy a "normal" S600 and load it up with all the options and have a better driving, cheaper version of the same car.

+Afrim Lusha : Hi Afrim, the Maybach S600 and S600 in this (W222) series, only use the 6 litre V12. The difference between the S65 AMG and the S600, is the Forged Crankshaft, Pistons and Rods, Cams, Bearings, Heads and Valves, Fuel Pump and Transmission....etc. I believe Benz did this, to save having two different V12 blocks, with internals and ancillaries laying around, for a few extremely low volume cars. But what you say is true, of the previous W221 series S class.

Finally they got the styling right for the Maybach. The old one looked like a a 15 year old Hyundai Sonata on a truckload of steroids.I noticed you mentioned that the seats were very hard...unlike a Lexus. Why do these big German luxury car makers do this to their cars????Their customers sit in the cars and the first thing they feel is the seat...why make it like a slab of granite ??????It would be extremely bad for your lower bad and lead to a strong pain at the end of your spine after driving the car for a while. Apart from the seats the car is so well equipped I think I could easily live in it and not have to pay any more rent. Maybe in 100 years I might be able to afford one...they should only cost about $2,000...maybe!!!!
