The Grand Seiko is just so stunning. Initially I was a bit, nah to the King Seiko, but I am starting to warm to them. Great selection of watch to compare the KS with, really enjoyed this video.

The SJE073 is gorgeous and I think a better value than the King Seiko tbh. The King Seiko is great looking, especially in the pictures I have seen of the red but the Presage is a stunner and more value for the money I feel.

Really noticeable differences in AR coating as you switched between some of the watches (the KS & GS being incredibly good). Nice comparison series.

Because of your review (and rants) I found a new SARY147 and ordered it. Looking at the King Seiko next but in the new lavender dial SPB291. FYI the SARY147 has sapphire! Even better value prop when you consider that.

Amazing video. I am cross shopping between the King Seiko and NB1050 so this video is super helpful. Love to see a comparison between this King Seiko and the Alpinist Laurel and understand why there's a $1,000 difference between the two.

Thankfully just got the red dial king seiko, I thought long and hard about the movment, but it's not terrible it's good but we always want better. But everything else is AMAZING. The finishing, the bracelet, the indexes, the dial, no date! It has waaaay to many positives! And honestly I think they look better than the LE king seiko. I would love to see I detailed head to head vs a grand seiko comparing the degree of finishing. Offourse grand seiko is gonna be better but by how much, because honestly the new king seikos hold up really well and certainly look better than many presages. Love your work!

This was excellent. I'm looking to get an iconic Seiko design, but also hoping for some standout features. I'm going back and forth between this King Seiko and the SARX055. If I had the budget I'd get both, but I think it's going to have to be one or the other. Thanks for this!

You should really point out the fact that seiko has zero offering where it's no date. All of their watch in this size has a date. This new line of king seiko is the only line that has no date and it's make the dial a lot better in my opinion
