Once Again, I am the Bride's Maid, No Respect at My Age May 22 2024

the plan was for a full production day but the fellow from hydro wanted to service the power transformer. no problem with him returning after lunch to do the work after i moved a few things out of the way. only problem was he never returned to work on the transformer or got a hold of me to say he was not returning. 4 hours wasted because we now live in the new world when the younger generation has no respect for the older generation. i then had to work late to get what i had planned to be completed today. once again i am tired of being the Bride's Maid with no respect given. oh well i did get the ramp to the house mounted and the canopy over the door completed. also the first book in my winter-ice roads book series titled "My Struggles" is on for being free as an ebook on Amazon from May 22-26 2024. link below, please enjoy. thansk

Those sea cans are made of weathering steel, or corten steel. It is a carbon steel, made of a slightly different chemical composition from that of mild steel. yes they know how to make containers and make them last just long enough to serve to the purpose. we are lucky to get to buy them to re-use. the odds of grabbing 2 brass welded bases was all luck but it worked out in the end. thansk

For people like me who don't know how to weld (properly), you don't have to spend a lot of time teaching, just watching you work and you saying what you are using and why you are doing something a certain way would be fun to watch.

i sued to cut wood . and we hade a old trailer and a wood stove . the wood we used was wet so used old motor oil to strart it half a soup can put it on top of the wood . work great . only hade one close call . we a new guy up to start the fire an he mext up the judges an put gas on the wood . did blow up just blew the chimney off the trailer he was all right scared the shit out of him never hurt him or anything in the trailer lol an got the fire going too . that was lucky

It might not be a bad idea to leave a little clearance around it, and an open path to it. In storm season when you get lightning sometimes they will pop. I don’t know if they will catch on fire. Never seen that. I have seen one throw pretty good sparks.Better safe than sorry. Take care.
