I know the verses aren't in time, I don't know what happened.
I actually prefer this version to the original because, well, russian is a beautiful language and I think it fits better with the movie because it's about the Romanov family.

Me too! It gets me every time no matter how many years has passed since the first time watching this film. The fact that this song has some historical background makes it even sadder. Not some fairy tale characters but the real people who had had to go through this. Though Anastasia never survived

@Ganime Ozcay Aye, it's a really good film. It's a legend, a myth. Like folk tales from olden time, it doesn't have to be historically accurate. But know as an adult when I saw this movie again in netflix all I could think of how Anastasia, had she lived, would have been used as a puppet by the white army, provoking yet another civil war where thousands more would probably die from. Now that I think about it, who knows where the myth of Anastasia surviving really originates from? The commoners talking about what could have been? Or a propaganda attempt by the royalists. Since if people believe Anastasia live, that's all the justification they'd want. A look alike can be found from anywhere, afterall.

for anybody wondering the pronunciation Kak uzor na ogne. Like a pattern on a window. Snova proshloe rjadom. The past is near again. Kto-to pel pesnju mne. Someone sang a song to me. Zinmij vecher kogda-to. One winter night sometime. Slovno v proshlom ozhilo. As if coming alive in the past. Chi’ix- to berezhinix ruk teplo. The warmth of someone's gentle arms. Valsy iziskonnyx gostej. The waltz of exquisite guests. I veg lexix konej. And brave horses running. Val’s kruzhil I njos menja. The waltz spun and carried me. Slovno v skazku svoju manja. As if beckoning in its tale. Pervyj bal I pervyj val's. The first ball and the first waltz. Svuchat vo mne sejchas. Resound in me right now. Zerkala v jantare. Mirrors in amber. Moj vostorg otrazhajut. Reflect my delight. Kto-to pel na zore. Someone sang at dawnbreak. Dom rodnoj pokidaja. Leaving her cherished home. Budesh' ty v dekabre. You will be, in December. actually anastasia was assassinated along with her family in 1918 in Yekaterinburg, Russiaby members of the Cheka, the Bolshevik secret police. So in reality the movie isnt at all real historically,on the night of the deaths the family was awakened and told to dress. They were told they were being moved to a new location to ensure their safety in anticipation of the violence that might ensue when the White Army reached Yekaterinburg. Once dressed, the family and the small circle of servants who had remained with them were herded into a small room in the house's sub-basement and told to wait. Alexandra and Alexei sat in chairs provided by guards at the Empress's request. After several minutes, the guards entered the room, led by Yurovsky. Yurovsky quickly informed the Tsar and his family that they were to be executed. The Tsar had time to say only "What?" and turn to his family before he was killed by several bullets to the chest (not, as is commonly stated, to the head; his skull, recovered in 1991, bears no bullet wounds). The Tsaritsa and her daughter Olga tried to make the sign of the cross, but were killed in the initial volley of bullets fired by the executioners. The rest of the Imperial retinue were shot in short order, with the exception of Anna Demidova, Alexandra's maid. Demidova survived the initial onslaught, but was quickly murdered against the back wall of the basement, stabbed to death while trying to defend herself with a small pillow she had carried into the sub-basement that was filled with precious gems and jewels.once the thick smoke that had filled the room from so many weapons being fired in such close proximity cleared, it was discovered that the executioners' bullets had ricocheted off the corsets of two or three of the Grand Duchesses. The executioners later came to find out that this was because the family's crown jewels and diamonds had been sewn inside the linings of the corsets to hide them from their captors. The corsets thus served as a form of "armor" against the bullets. Anastasia and Maria were said to have crouched up against a wall, covering their heads in terror, until they were shot down by bullets,However, another guard, Peter Ermakov, told his wife that Anastasia had been finished off with bayonets. As the bodies were carried out, one or more of the girls cried out, and were clubbed on the back of the head.

@EstaseaVorte
@EstaseaVorte 9 ай бұрын

Vnov' so mnoj, dorogaja. Again with me, darling.
