He's getting to her. Whenever he comes up with one of these lines, she always looks at him with deep surprise, almost wondering if this is the same guy she met at the begining. She had the same look in her eyes when he returned to help them find Henry, when he healed her hand after climbing the beanstalk, when he said to her that he would not have left her up in the giant's cave, when he said "perhaps you're the one who couldn't handle it" juist before the kiss, when he said he'd win her heart the straight way, when he was at her New York apartment and he said that there wasn't anything for him in the enchanted Forest (basically, she wasn't there) and that he had returned only to save her... and now. The man is barking mad in love with her!!! I am SO shipping these two.

I don't get all this annoyance with Emma. She's literally had her heart broken every time she's loved something, not to mention that she's always had to work for something and has only loved once. She can't decide if she shouldering her heart for Hook and she's clearly debating, so stop saying "Oh kiss him already!" Emma just needs some time. We all know that eventually, when she lets her walls down, Hook is about to die and she saves him, but he hates her for that. When he finally comes to his senses, he dies, when they go to the underworld, the promo shows Hook saying, "Why go back when I can just move on?" Don't you get how hard this is on her? She's lost everyone.

That’s true but sometimes she gets her walls up like on season 1 she always have her walls up and snow didn’t know that’s her daughter or charming either until she broke a curse and now everyone remember snow and charming daughter Emma even her parents remember now that’s their daughter thank god they know I would do same thing so they know who I am I will brake a curse so everyone will know I’m their daughter that’s why I’m glad she broke a curse

That’s true she lost everyone she ever loved Graham Walsh And Neal she can’t lost hook to but then they got married at the end of season 6 episode 20 and they have a daughter together at the end of season 7 and they name their daughter Hope Swan-Jones

She felt she had a pretty good life in New York and than bam to learn it was all based on lies. The new guy she was in love with, wasn't what she thought and had her heart broken. I can understand why she wasn't so eager to open up to Hook at that point, she just needed time to let everything sink in. He was pointing out that the fact she still could feel heartbreak meant that her heart wasn't closed completely

Emma sounds like a broken record all through season 3. All she practically says is "When this is done Henry and I are going back to New York, When this is done Henry and I are going back to New York, When this is done Henry and I are going back to New York." ugh it was so annoying. I'm glad she isn't in so much denial now.

Well, she spent a year away from them and she worried about the whole not fitting in. Yes, it did get annoying, but you have to realize what she went through. Imagine living a perfectly normal life in NYC, then you get memories back of parents you didn't know you had, an adoptive mom of your son, and a pirate who's in love with you. Kinda hard to keep things in order.

Huntress4455 Well I would act the complete opposite. If I was an orphan and found my family I'd be ecstatic and if a pirate that hot and cool was into me I would be so happy.

But she's been through so much as an orphan and remember, the one thing she likes to count on is stability and getting memories back is something completely unpredictable. Yes, it may be something great at first, but you have to realize what she said to Killian in 3x12 "What I wanted...what I thought I could have was not in the cards for the Savior." She just feels so overwhelmed by everything that occurs, and that's too much pressure on one person, especially if you're trying to defeat a Wicked Witch.
