Yeah Bobcat Goldthwait is very well known for his voice ;P and he actually did some voice acting in cartoons such as Disney's Hercules, he voiced himself in an episode of The Simpsons, voiced in an episode of Beavis and Butt-Head and voiced in the Tales from the Crypt-episode The Third Pig (and he also played a role in an episode called Ventriloquist's Dummy, both great episodes!) Bill Paxton almost played the role of Zed, but he turned it down because he didn't want to be in the other movies. He seemed to be one of those actors who doesn't like to reprise a role and he would have definitely fitted in the role (he also played a punk who got killed by Schwarzenegger in the beginning of The Terminator). 7 movies, plus a cartoon tv-show and a live action tv-show that's both a reboot and a sequel because some of the actors do reprise their roles in different episodes, but many of the new characters were basically bland ripoffs of some of the main characters from the other movies. The show overall was very forgettable and not that funny.

introducing Bobcat Goldthwait who did a few movies, always with that voice. That was his thing, show up, do the voice. He was mostly known for Hollywood Squares. He's also in Scrooged, Hercules, Leroy and Stitch, Encino Man, Buzz Lightyear of Star Command, and Jackie Chan Adventures BTW the cast did rotate in and out Some got 3 movies, some one movie some got all seven some got other numbers. also gilbert Gottfried and Fran Drescher were also known for there voices and were on Hollywood Squares a lot.

Your reaction at 13:10 cracked me up lmao I tend to put Police Academy 2 right up there with the first one. Loved the setting and the new additional characters, though like you I was hoping some of the other originals would be in it. I hope you at least stick with 3 and 4 as they're definitely worth a watch.

I grew up on the Police Academy movies so your videos have been very nostalgic. When I was a kid I thought Bobcat Golthwait (Zed the gang leader) was hilarious. I’m sorry if you found him annoying, but I’m hoping you enjoy his return in Police Academy 3. I’m having a sad Christmas because a close friend of mine is very sick, but your videos and enthusiasm for these silly movies has really cheered me up. Thank you 😊

The US is one of only like 6 countries that use the standard measuring system, aka imperial system. I’m American and I work for a Japanese company. I’m a mechanic so everything I work on is in metric. I’ll be the first to say, the standard units of measurement suck, they make no sense, and the metric system is a hell of a lot better.

Bobcat Goldthwait is a standup comedian, actor, writer, producer, and director. In the 80's and part of the 90's, this crazy, drugged out performance was part of his act. When you see him in interviews now, he speaks normally. Performance acting in standup comedy was common up until recently. They were more like actors playing a role as it helped them boost their confidence on stage instead of just being themselves. Gilbert Gottfried (Iago the parrot in Disney's "Aladdin") still uses his standard funny, scratchy, whiny voice in public.

In the states they use the old imperial system of inches, pounds, gallons etc. In Europe, we the civilized folk, use the perfectly logical metric system. Everything is related to each other in the decimal system, so units are easy to convert to other forms. C'mon America, make the leap of faith and join the rest of the developed world with your measurements.

My least-to-best Police Academy list: Part 7 - Not terrible, just pathetic. Poorly-timed, everyone wants to move on, but I guess they can't find work. The ship had long sailed. Part 6 - Same as above, just lighter. Series is clearly past its prime, and there's nothing to do with the *ACADEMY.* Still, most of the ensemble holds together well. Part 3 - Not bad, just cheap. Too much recycled from original and the chase scene at the end goes on too long. Still, fun, carefree entertainment, especially if you have something better planned afterwards. Part 2 - Pretty damn good as far as sequels go. Not one of my favorites, but I appreciate the character development. Part 1 - Great introduction. Nuff said. Part 5 - Yeah, the absence of Mahoney is obvious, but the rest of the cast carries the movie just fine and it's still a lot of fun to watch. By the way, younger, "enlightened" viewers will appreciate that nothing here could be taken as politically incorrect. Part 4 - The first one I saw in the theater and the first one I watched all the way through. All my favorite characters are there. I think this is the only part that doesn't close *at* the academy.
