Thanks for this video. Can you create multiple threaded holes from 1 sketch?
@loughkb3 ай бұрын
It looks pretty easy until you realize that the US part you're building this to go on has 14 threads per inch at a 1-in diameter. In the US profile there's a 1-in diameter but it's doing something like 10 threads per inch. How can I increase the number of threads per inch?

this is great but how do you make an NPT thread in ONDSEL? Also where is the threadmaker work bench in Ondsel?

Thank you for all your videos, They are very interesting. One question: How to create a partly thread on the rod? I'm looking for the possibility to have partly external threads. E.g. for a screw, which have the thread only to the half of the length. May be you can make a video on the topic next. Many Thanks!!!

Thanks! Yeah great idea. I think cutting away some part of the rod can be an option.

@AllVisuals4U6 ай бұрын
You can go to the Addon manager to download it. Good luck!
@nagesharas51366 ай бұрын
1. Use the Tools > Addon manager menu. 2. In the Search field, enter "fast" 3. Only the Fasteners workbench remains, and all other items are hidden. 4. Click on this entry to select this workbench, and click on the "Install" button at the top. 5. Restart Ondsel (the workbench will appear only after a restart)

thank you very much for your videos. I am learning a lot. However I have a problem, I notice that the program is a little slow, for example if I want to change the thread size from M10 to M20 I give the command and the program takes 3 or 4 seconds to execute the action, it is not as fast as in your video, is this normal? what could it be?

Thank you, that's awesome! I cut the video, so loading times look like shorter than they are.
