I just did this with my kids a month or two ago and I felt the same way thought my 17 year old son was gonna have to take me. My stomach started to hurt so bad about 15 minutes after eating the chip. I vomited a few times but ice water helped alot my pain lasted about 30 minites. my kids stomachs started hurting as mine started resolving. We definantly will never be doing that again. Sugar also gelos a lot to take the heat away!

Another good example is those people that freak out the second it's in their mouth even though heat isnt instant. I never had a sauce that was unbearable instantly and I have tried 1.5 mil scoville sauces (rip my stomach).
