One day at a time because your next breath your next day is not granted. There's only one way of victory for your soul that's to call out to Jesus Christ the ultimate CrossFit champion of the universe the champion of creation. Nobody could ever walk in Jesus Christ sandals but every step he took in those sandals was for you Jesus Christ went through the ultimate course against the devil in opposition in order for his final step to be on the cross with his arms stretched out as he was bloody beaten to say this is how much I love you. LOOKING UNTO JESUS THE AUTHOR AND FINISHER OF OUR FAITH FOR THE JOY SET BEFORE HIM ENDURED THE CROSS GUARDING THE SAME AND IS NOW SAT DOWN AT THE RIGHT HAND OF GOD IN VICTORY

1) Eat one bite at a time. Dont think about the entire thing - it will overwhelm you n you will Quit. 2) Prioritise - Focus on whats important n ignore the least important. 3) When you r stressed, look at others going through the struggle n try to laugh about it. This makes it easy to bear mentally. 4) If instructors could do it, you could do it too. Maybe it will take u extra time or more attempts but you will get there (just hang in). 5) Focus on the Team. Dont prioritose yrslf over the Team. 6) Be all in, in what you do. Either Do it with Passion or Dont Do it at all

@@chewcab8008 I agree somewhat but I don't buy excuses. Chemical embalance in the brain is a physiological issue, however it can be overcome. Not with meds either. Will power is something one has matured over time since birth, being born with it. Or not. Certain people have the chemical and physical makeup to be in the Teams, or other SOF units, and sheer will power to move forward in that degree of selflessness and torturing of a career. Yes it's almost torture being in the Team's. I spent a long time with the Teams. Everyday was painful. Physically. The reward wasn't visible, the benefits weren't euphoric, and the mental challenges were beyond the scope of most people's machinations. At the end of the day, it was a job and nothing more. A career. A responsibility. Not something where I expected handouts or a pat on the ass and a atta boy sticker for a hardhat. Many think they can embrace the suck factor and motivation to survive Hell Week, and almost 80% get slapped with reality or a medical drop when they depart the Strand. It's mental fortitude. I've seen mentally handicapped persons with more will power and survival instincts with less selfishness than most of the guys who were on that beach for the first few days. Those guys are the ones who didn't make it. That's my take.
@whiplash3kilo7562 жыл бұрын
One more thing, when guys make it to day 5, with broken ribs and leg fractures, and still refuse to quit, that's the bottom line, that's all that matters. They may not be the fastest, best swimmers, or runners and mathematicians, but that's not what's first looked at, will to not give up is what's graded first before anything else.

“If I cant effect it, I don’t even worry about it.” This is something I’m trying to teach myself now that I’ve discovered I have anxiety issues. That quote hits the nail on the head; we have to focus on what we can control and give our all to that and only that. Worry, fear, and anxiety can destroy us if we don’t learn to “break things down to small bites” and stay positive. These SEAL talks are such a help to me in learning to manage anxiety and try to be a good man, husband, and father.

Right. But knowing the difference between what you can effect and can't is where the anxiety comes from. You learn what you can and can't effect through experience though.
