Hi Gabriel! About three weeks ago I became a subscriber to your page. Since I'm retired and find myself with plenty of time in my hands I can tell you that I have seen a lot of your great footages. And when I say "a lot" I really mean it! The one thing that really caught my attention has to do with the guts you have to enter alone into very narrow streets in places with extreme poverty using a camera that may cost perhaps a year's gross income from those who are nearby you. You have done this in India, in Nepal as well as in other countries. Aren't you afraid...? Mostly considering you travel alone being in many occasions the only westerner in town... I live in Rosario (Argentina's third largest city) and one thing I can tell you for sure: if you venture into a shanty town in this city (or in any other Argentinean city for the matter which will also include most of South America) chances of leaving the area with the camera in your hand are maybe ten to twenty percent while chances of leaving the area alive and not inside a coffin may be just a little bit better... I wouldn't bet a dime for your safety shall you decide to enter with your camera in a poor area of town at noon... let alone at night! Shall you ever decide to visit South America, please be careful. While most tourist areas are well protected by the police venturing into unprotected territory as you often do may be really a risky business. I can't comment on India, Nepal, Thailand, Vietnam, Laos, etc. because I have never been there but I certainly know this area of the world! Greetings from a new fan. We reached 35 degrees yesterday (95 for you) so enjoy the northern hemisphere's cold weather!
@GabrielTravelerVideos7 жыл бұрын
Asia is definitely different from Latin America in that regard. Two years ago I went to Colombia, Peru and Ecuador (got pick-pocketed in Bogota), but I was never in slum areas and I wouldn't go to them there. India is different, not sure why or how to explain but I always feel perfectly safe walking around those neighborhoods. For one thing there's no anti-American sentiment in India, they love Americans, so that changes the vibe. And also most of the neighborhoods I've shown weren't actually slums, they were regular neighborhoods. That's just what a lot of India looks like. So they don't really consider themselves to be the poor folks, they're regular folks and most are kind-hearted people who wouldn't think of stealing. Certainly it does happen and I never forget that it's possible. I just vibe things out to the best of my ability and if it feels weird then I get out of there.

Hi Gabe! Great VLOG...as usual! Never thought I’d be interested in India, until I watched your adventures! Unrelated question.... I believe you’ve said you get your money via ATM debit card from your bank. Don’t you find the ATM fees, on both ends, to be quite expensive? Do you ever use your card to pay direct for larger items like hotels, or are there a lot of places that don’t take cards at all? Thanks! Bob
@GabrielTravelerVideos7 жыл бұрын
When I was in India this last time, almost none of the ATMs charged me a withdrawal fee for some reason. It only happened in Delhi. Not sure what changed, because previously yes, I would always get charged. And then I also get charged $5 by my bank. So it does add up but in the end it isn't a whole lot. Everyone recommends the Charles Schwab bank account because they don't charge a withdrawal fee and even refund any charges by the ATM. I just haven't gotten around to looking into that.

How wonderful, thanks for sharing Hey, do you know the "Life & Teaching of the Masters of the Far East" books/CD's? They have been a great inspiration to me personally and tell the true tales of Baird T. Spaulding traveling to the Himalayas with a research/transcribing team and their encounters with many Masters including Jesus. They visited the "Silence" Temple and watched a whole village of 50 people walk across water, met folks who were between 100 and 800 years old and saw people bi-locate and teleport. All in the 1800's. I'd love to visit some of those places. Enjoy it all for me until I can get there! Blessings

Lady Lozamay Luminiere, just asking - do you seriously believe all these things? 😷
@ladylozamaylumiere33857 жыл бұрын
These things cannot and will never be understood or believed from the little, ego, low vibrational mind and dark grids. If you can elevate yourself into your higher mind, then there is only Oneness, Messiahship, Mastership. This is the place where such things happen naturally and we all are capable of. Your mockery means that you have a long, long way to go to Master such things. Meanwhile, why not rejoice knowing that not only Jesus could but many others can and do too. This has in general been kept from all to keep you low, in fear, pain and suffering while controlled in your little ego mind selves. May the Light find you
