Yes. I can relate. I have worked with Sculpy in the past. A great media super Sulpy is great for the head. I also work with latex rubber. An epoxy. I must make a baby Yodq my self. Diseny has not even gotten baby Yodas out in time for Christmas yet. An if an when thay do. Thay will suck iam.shure. I have seen hundreds of fan made baby Yodas on line. So better than other s I have gone wild over it almost aversive. This holiday seson sucks because last Feb 3rd my dear mom past away. This will be the 1st Christmas with out her .I miss her deeply. But when I saw Baby Yoda. The littel green guy gave me new hope. An I am in love with this baby. I wantvkake my own. I must I do have a Chawhawha dog that is in away a liveing Yoda but I need to make my self a Yoda sculpture to make my Hoily day a happy one. This is SO ADORABLE!!! I just love the circa 1990s family photos.😂 Next time you use polymer clay, try warming it up in your hands and kneading it for 2 to 5 minutes until it’s really soft, that should get rid of a lot of the problems you seemed to have at the beginning of the project, and it makes it so much easier to smooth.

You should sew him a little "body sock" similar to the ones on baby dolls! That way his body isn't completely tinfoil and you can put other clothes on him without the tinfoil tearing

Clay softener (a liquid) can be applied before baking to help smooth the lumps and finger prints in clay. Sanding after baking helps even more so when used in conjunction with the aforementioned method.

If you wanted to do more clay in the future I would reccomend getting a pasta roller and some clay softener so you can more easily condition the clay. Plus use it to smooth out lumps with a brush. Make sure to bake for an hour to get as much strength as possible with some tin foil covering it. And for that sized project I would probably have added armature to both sides of his ears for added strength. Overall really great job!
