These would be great for someone who has to watch their sugar intake as most chips are off the menu for a diabetic. Thank you Lisa!

I’ve seen the cheese chips done on quite a few food channels, but have never seen the cracker innovation and you were most polite in addressing anyone who dared imagine using that anathema in a shaker. Very well done!! I also chuckled when you followed up the cheese cracker recipe with the salad addition…you reminded me of the television ads, “but wait, there’s more”. Thank you as always for sharing life in the far north, says the North Carolina resident. Your weekend jaunts reminded me of my days living in the Upper Midwest and the sights around The Great Lakes.

Lisa! These cheese recipes are AMAZING!!!! I can't wait to try them! I only have Pecorino Romano on hand, so I will start with that. Keep those Specialty Italian recipes coming! They are treasures!! Sei bravissima!!! Complimenti! Saluti da New York! Mrs. D.

Lovely ideas for the "cheese crisps" - especially liked the idea of them in salad as you suggested! Enjoyed seeing the lovely flowers in your yard, also. Blessings, Janet

You can take the warm cheese and pour it over a rounded dish too.) It is lovely with a simple salad in the crisp on a plate. I have also done this in a smaller pan and poured it over the wide bottom of a wine glass and filled with a stuffed crab/cheese mushroom. I cannot take credit for this as I saw Anthony Bourdain at a Restaurant in Italy do this. I was totally inspired by this.

Dear Mochi, did you grease the bottom of the dish first, or was that unnecessary?
@Mochi-sn3ud6 ай бұрын
@@wyominghome4857 Non-stick pan or porcelain work well. I did this on a well seasoned cast iron pan. You've got to watch the heat on the pan or it burns, just hot enough to melt.) It actually took me several times to get to that success! Cheese is fatty and no need for oil/grease. I guess you could spray with some Pam but we do not use it here. Maybe if you are using a stainless steel pan you may need to spray it.

I love these!! We`ve always just called them cheese crisps (your names are so much more elegant tho) This is the only reason I purchased non stick electric griddle years ago... just to make these! Never thought about doing 1 large one. Now I`m eager to try with the seasoned bread crumbs! Thank you so much for that idea!

Just had to come back & tell you about another video I saw, Lisa. She made them larger (like an 8" pan) and immediately upon removing them..draped them over a bowl to cool & shape & then use for a salad bowl. I thought to myself that is something Lisa would do! :)

Lol! You know me too well, Sarah! I tried doing this afterwards and I couldn’t get it to work...my pan wasn’t non -stick enough I guess but I loved that idea 😊
