Intermittent fasting has worked the best for me with keeping my weight down and helping me feel good and having the most energy during the day. My boyfriend is into fitness and used to be a personal trainer and he absolutely HATES when we workout together in the mornings because I don’t eat until after 12pm. He constantly tells me that I need fuel for my body in order to workout hard. That I’m running on empty when working out and that’s not healthy. He’s always trying to make me eat a banana or some type of fruit or protein bar prior to our workout or right after and it gets annoying. I’m glad to see that this works for you as well.

Lol he loves you and cares for you 💕 I am not a professional but from my extensive research, I found out that it is perfectly fine not to eat before working out. If you were an athlete training for the Olympics game, you would need to fuel up before working out because you would be burning soooo many calories doing multiple intense training that your body would use it right away. But regular people like you n me, working out a few times a week… we have enough energy storage to sustain a few workouts a week on empty stomach. Now, if you have a condition or if you feel light headed after or during your workout, eat! Always listen to your body 😉

@@Phaedra_lomax No! 😂 I mean I have, just to please him but I be trying my hardest not to break my fast. If you do IF then you know that breaking that fast just sets you back.

@@LuisaLouis He does! And I appreciate him. I agree with you. Women like us who are working out 4-5 times a week just to stay active and in shape is no comparison to athletes training,and I definitely listen to my body. Thank you! I have been following you for over a year now and love your videos! I make my own body butter now from watching one of your videos in the past. ♥ I have also done my research on IF and working out on it. There is this doctor on youtube that has tons of informational research on IF and keto. "Dr. Eric Berg DC" I love his content.

I can’t fast. I have low blood sugar and my doctor told me I need to graze throughout the day. I have fainted from going too long without eating. That’s how I was diagnosed. We all do what’s right for us.

I love IF and enjoyed you sharing how you go about it. That HIIT workout was no joke. Do you use an app? I hope to be as in shape as you one day.

So happy you enjoyed this video 😊 My HIIT workout is a mix of different exercise I find on Instagram. Every time I find a exercise I like on my feed I save it in a playlist that I call workout. When I’m at the gym, I select a few exercises from that playlist depending on what I want to workout and creat a little HIIT session with them. I also like to use an app called Asana Rebel. 😉

I started doing this since 22nd may and I lost 1 kg which is roughly 2 pounds I also walked a lot ( 5km about 10k steps ) and worked out for 20 minutes The problem with me is my one meal is about 1000 calories and I drink coffee with milk in between hence the weight loss is just 2 lbs
@LuisaLouis2 жыл бұрын
That’s pretty good though. You only started a few days ago. Give yourself some time to adapt. No rush. Once you get more comfortable with this routine you can start taking out the milk in your coffee. Do that for a couple of weeks and see how you respond to it. Take baby steps. You’re doing great 😊
@rosemarymartinez67092 жыл бұрын
You should try the bulletproof coffee. People that do keto and IF together drink that coffee while they're fasting because it doesn't break their fast and calms the appetite. Look into it. I had to slowly stop the cream. I started by just using coconut cream in my coffee instead of milk. But keep up the good work. As long as you are consistent you will always see results.

hey honeys have a question here. can you break your fast then go work out? loved the video by the way. thanks
@LuisaLouis2 жыл бұрын
Hey Phaedra! The great thing with IF is that you can adapt it to your needs. If you need to eat before you workout than do that. As long as you are able to maintain a long fasting period and a short eating window on a regular, the magic happens 😉

I have a few days a week where I only eat one meal a day. I can get down with intermittent fasting. 👍🏾
