Yep, definitely a pre-seeded audience. They knew the piece, the conductor, and each other. If anyone believes it takes anything less than that to perform symphonic music, then they are wildly underestimating the amount of work it takes to be a professional musician. Having been a concert musician for more than half of my life, I've seen conductors struggle to get an audience of random people to accurately sing _christmas carols._ And I agree, it was nonetheless beautifully done and I wish I could have been in that auditorium myself. Exceptional performance

Well since there are 3000 gods it's hard to know & if you mean the Xtian god YHWH/El it's 2 different ones taken from six cultures give or take. One was a warrior god and the other one was an old man in the sky with a white beard. Which is how we depict him today. So they aren't one god even their own book as Genesis points out "My name is El but you can call me YHWH" which is taking the cult of El & the cult of YHWH & combining them & they couldn't be more different. One was married to Ashera & had a son named Baal (also mentioned in the old testament). Both were storm gods as was common in those days to have a storm god be the most powerful which is why we see Zeus and Thor (other storm gods) at the top of their respective pantheons. So you'd probably hear a lot of lightning if anything. That's why they are always associated with the flood. (Aka a big storm). All these myths came out of the Anatolian region where this event must have happened and Moses was copied from the king of the Akkadians & Noah from Atrahasis/Gilgamesh & Psalms from Atenaten etc. A little bit of research goes a long way to find out that the person you are referencing doesn't exist because we have archaeological evidence of two different groups of people leaving gifts and making sacrifices at two different alter sites with their names on it. Not to mention the Sumerians and the cultures surrounding them wrote a heck of a lot down which everybody tends to ignore today.

From there, he just adjusts the starting note up or down by one for each group and plays around with it. The audience is able to find a decent relative pitch amongst themselves, with the more confident vocalists taking the lead and the less confident ones naturally holding back, though after he cuts everyone off, you can hear a couple of the off-pitch singers holding on for a split second trying to reach that pretty high final note he gave the "soprano" group. When i was in highschool they had this thing called ilmea. Which is a singing tryout thing where u wake up early af and go to a try out where a TON of kids all tryout from all over the district (usually you are there the whole day and waiting in like the cafeteria or wherever in the facility, and u get a schedule to when you start going to the “audition rooms”, so some people got there at 6am and had to wait till 5pm or later to tryout). And then if u make the part, then u go to “district” and sing with all the top people from the district (which usually is alot), which was amazing BUT if u were good enough, after district you will find out if you made “state”, which means u were one of the best auditions for your part in the state! I was one of the lucky bass II singers that made it. It was truely unforgettable practicing with hundreds of top singers and then preforming with them. The songs sound absolutely amazing. It was an unforgettable and one of a kind experience.

Well, your reaction is exactly what is wrong with this whole show. Have you thought for a second that when a pretentious young kid does not even bother to wear basic suit is extremely insulting to all of the other musicians on stage behind him? Insulting to the audience? How can somebody reward such disrespect to the music profession?! He is wearing sweatpants and an ugly sweater, and does not bother to at least comb his hair. Older, experienced musicians have a valid reason to have eccentricities. But seeing this, how can you not feel bad for everyone else on stage?

Intentional or not that last note & the quick rise at the very last sec as the composer jumps was amazing. I don't think too many ppl caught it. As a sound engineer, that was really unique.
