I see some, not just kanji but hiragana and katakana too. like uppercase T looks like ヒ, lowercase J looks like メ. Lowercase A looks like レ. Uppercase U looks like 万. It could take other inspirations but I only know Japanese so I can't be sure. I learned a little bit of Korean but I don't see any that look like Hangul.

Hi there! Thank you so much for the shoutout; we really appreciate it!! At the moment, only 3 letters are unsolved, and those are X, J, and Q. We're not sure which Z character is uppercase and which is lowercase, but we do know both exist. It's also important to note that there are many errors in Scala-English because those errors are the same that native Japanese speakers commonly make when writing in English. That's why "King Load" is written in the ML screenshot; it's meant to say "King Road." We've got a few more letters to add to Kai's key; I'm pretty sure he'll update them soon. I'm working together with Televo, Kai, Scala Survivors, and others to decipher the other two scripts found in Scala and Quadratum, though those are much more difficult (the cursive version and the modern-looking font). We're also working to make them fully functioning fonts that can be downloaded(the Scala ad Caelum version can be found on Televo's site, albeit with a few errors because we hadn't yet deciphered some letters when they last released the current live version). We've identified all of the individual letters in those scripts as far as we can tell; it's a matter of figuring out what English (or Japanese) equivalents there are! Two of the posters in KH3, the Flower Gift one and the Concert one, actually have full, comprehensible sentences in accurate Japanese, albeit rendered in romaji. I hate to be like "Go check out my twitter" but I have the translated posters uploaded in my media there, including those that are in Japanese. I've gotten some help from the Japanese side of the fandom as well with making sure those are accurate. Thank you for the signal boost!

The first pictures shown of the alphabet have changed since then. The mark of mastery was assumed to be “y” for a bit but was confirmed to be a different symbol. The lowercase “k” symbol is confirmed to be “y” now.

Barque might also be an intentional mistake. The Baroque society is described as kind of the lazy/not as good society. Maybe the name being misspelled is meant to reflect that. Or they’re just shortening it. Or it’s a genuine mistake on the developers end. Who knows?

For the word Barque, in french it means boat( little boat/save boat). Idk if its mean to be understood as in French but this would mean that the place is a barque for the lost/strander ones. I have to wonder if the community is looking at it all wrong and that viewing it as an english language instead of something far more exotic and therefore less comprehended like Sanskrit or what have you is actually what Nomura intended. As we all know he's a bit of a hack but even I don't think he'd just do a 1-1 english letter to symbol if he and his team WERE going to develop a whole new language. Could just be that english isn't the guiding key that everyone expects.

There’s been theories about that. Someone also thought Korean at one point could have been a base for some pieces. There are signs in Quadratum that spell out romanized Japanese words like “deer”

I put some of that blue/purple sign into GPT to translate it and I got back the resulting text: KLYMENSE REYNARDS OF ALEXANDRIA. PROUD HOME OF MAGISTRATES AND SCHOLARS. I believe there's more on it than what it was able to gather on first pass, but it's neat. Reynards reminds me a lot of the word Reynantis...but I could be reaching on that.

Something i want to mention about fictional language is that it doesnt always translate straight into english. For example, some of the chozo script seen in metroid dread and its marketing translates to the chozo language. For example, "metroid" is an english aproximation of the word, in chozoan its more pronounced and spelled "mathroid". Considering so many words have already been directly translated into english, and a lot of the jibberish signs and words dont even form pronouncable words/have numbers and symbols in them, i dont think this is the case for ancient keyblade language. However its just something to keep in mind. Regardless if you want to know more about chozoan, i highly recommend checking out the wiki page for it as well as the numerous videos that have been made about the subject. A lot of effort was put into that language, especially when its not very prominent outside of the hardcore nerds of the metroid fandom haha.

The Eraqus symbol is lowercase y; the unversed symbol is upper or lowercase Z, we’re not 100% sure yet. The last symbol that looks like 斗 is lowercase q :)

This reminds me of the inkling language in the Splatoon series. This is because of we've been able to translate it, which has lead to us finding a shirt in it a jellyfish wears that says "fuck you" on it lol, and the fact that it was made to just have an in game font that wasn't english or japanese or any other human language, but then was given some sort of rym and reason in the next game in the series to use it so it is no longer like someone smashed their keyboard.

My guess 4 months after posting my original video is DB = DayBreak. Simply because DayBreak is used a lot in KH3 Scala text. • Manhole covers • Daybreak holl (hall) • DbT on the Scala tablet orb thing •DbT = Daybreak Town I’m sure I’m forgetting a few other examples
