To all the 80s/90s Trainer experts (me included).... I am aware the Air Max (BW’s) are 90’s... unfortunately I only have classic trainers and the intro was a last minute idea. The Reeboks look more retro, and although 80’s, they were still pretty popular in the 90s 😎 My usually choice is ZX750’s from Adidas, they are mid 80s and were dirty. I’ll try harder next time haha. Loving all the retro comments... who wants more retro stuff?

@@garykee1 where does all the years go myfriend... If I'm honest I've had an extremely good life, ive done and experienced many many things. Even awful things I accept. Ive always lived life by doing what I wanted, seems selfish but I took other peoples thoughts and things on board and included it. I've always believed life is about happiness, ive died 3 times and survived, ive walked away from motorcycles and vehicle accidents i should not have survived. Ive visited wonderful places and I dont believe the world is the awful dangerous place its made out to be. And now I take life easy, one RC car at a time in retirement 🤣🤣 My first was a wild willy jeep in 84 85 I think, I was still in primary school. I grew up then into modifying real cars and motorcycles and built a business from it, and now 35 years later, back to little small cars. I love taking toys and making them into rc cars, like hot wheels cars slotcars even old tonka toys. Old habits die hard myfriend 👍

Just Love them❤ Have a small collection of about 33 ToyGrades (it's small because I had to sell half) it's missing me about 4 cars for my goal and they are amazing. Passion started in 1983 and it never ended ❤ At the moment only two HobbyGrades to distress; having fun without worrying of breaking or scratching a 20, 30 or 40 years old part 😁

Ah nostalgia.. I'm a bit older so my teens was late 80's early 90's. I had a Metro Turbo nicknamed the Metrognome. It was lowered,, superchipped and a upgraded Turbo. The hydrogas suspension was rock hard but those things stuck to corners like glue. Mine also had a 4 speed race gearbox, it was loud and had shit mileage but loved it.

Nikko! The second brand of rc I had! What good memories. The first rc car I owned was a Tayo Porsche 935 Martini Team. The second a red Nikko Fireball, then a Super Fox, a Rhino Aero, a Super Dictator and a Dictator 3. From that point I made the jump to vintage Tamiya and Kyosho models and little by little I was also acquiring modern models of almost all the brands until today, in which I have 307 models (a headache to clean the dust, but this is a BEAUTIFUL hobby and worth the effort) Thanks for the video, sir; It has brought back great memories.

I had higher hope for it, given it was running the 9.6V pack. I remember wanting the Tyco Fast Traxx in the worst way as a kid! That thing seemed blistering fast, at least from what I remember. Pretty sure it would wheelie. If you could get your hands on one of those, that would be pretty sick!

The nostalgia! Love it! Would have been over the moon with that back in 1992! I've just finished restoring a Taiyo Edge from around the same time which uses the same 9.6v nicad. I read that Panasonic Eneloop batteries are a good modern equivalent but I haven't bought yet to test. Great content as always.

I had one one these but it was the one that didn’t make sound thankfully lol. That would drive me crazy now. As a kid I loved it. If my memory is any good I remember them showing this thing doing 360’s and jumping stuff and all sorts of things that made you drool over it. then when ya got it it got stuck in the grass lol. But it’s still very nostalgic. I wanted one for a long time before I finally got one. Thanks for the memories.

This just shows how much technology has advanced. My first hobby grade RC was 1/32 scale losi truggy and I remember how much of an upgrade it was compared to the zip zap mini RCs. This was around 2002-03.

This was my first RC car, the caterpillars eventually broke and I superglued them to the wheels instead so it steered just with the back wheels then making the handling even worse! Brings back so many memories 👍

i had the Radio Shack Black Phantom after a Tamiya Manta Ray in the early 90’s and my best friend had a Fast Traxx too. Showing my age. A 4wd dual motor Phantom and an Awesome Schwinn Sting! I was ballen! Lol
