Today, we reflect on one of the most stunning and gifted American singers of the 1980s. Were you aware of her proficiency in Spanish singing as well? This serves as a tribute to Laura Branigan. Her full name was Laura Ann Branigan, hailing from Irish and Italian ancestry, born in New York on July 3, 1952. From a young age, she harbored a passion for both performance and music. NOTE: Both her father and grandfather died of aneurysms. She had a headache for a few days. However, she did not see a doctor. So that's what the headline is about.

I have 2 brain aneurysms and am scheduled for surgery next Friday. I had gone to the grocery store to pick up a couple of items and started seeing lighting bolts out of my left eye. As an RN I knew this could be a retinal detachment so I went to the ER. They did 2 CAT scans and found the aneurysms. You don't have any symptoms when you have an aneurysm or very rarely. My Dad died from multiple aneurysms as they tend to run in families. 'Gloria' was my favorite song of Laura Branigan. I'm a little older than she was at 58. May she RIP.

Your AI sincerity is wonderfully appreciated. Laura Branigan was very talented and although not quite wasted - had she been around in the 60's she would have fronted up a rock band like Janis Joplin or Grace Slick. Like Jennifer Rush it was difficult to find a place for her but she seems like a very caring woman who looked after her partner and her mother and as usual in these instances neglecting herself.
