I remember back in 82 when I was in my room blasting the Aussie Top 40 tunes, & I had just bought & played Laura Branigan's Gloria. My father opened my bedroom door & said, Who is singing this tune? & i said, Laura Branigan He then proceeded to say she has a hell of a great voice; her vocals are brilliant; she will go far. Later on, when I heard she had died, I was honestly shocked & saddened that the world has lost yet another talented singer...I still have all her singles & albums. She was a very pretty woman. 💔

I have 2 brain aneurysms and am scheduled for surgery next Friday. I had gone to the grocery store to pick up a couple of items and started seeing lighting bolts out of my left eye. As an RN I knew this could be a retinal detachment so I went to the ER. They did 2 CAT scans and found the aneurysms. You don't have any symptoms when you have an aneurysm or very rarely. My Dad died from multiple aneurysms as they tend to run in families. 'Gloria' was my favorite song of Laura Branigan. I'm a little older than she was at 58. May she RIP.
