Actually every top team had traction control in their cars as the ECUs at the time were built by the individual teams, so they used engine modes to hide it. It was banned, but the FIA couldn't enforce it, so they lifted the ban in 2001.

You have to enable jump start penaltys for ac to let you start in gear. In content manager you have to set the jump start penalty to pits or drive through I think Great video as always and I just got an Oculus rift. Amazing feeling racing in vr

Actually the Halo isn't that bad was my first reaction besides being there in 3d which is crazy itself, but my second reaction was motion Fu***** sickness from hotlaping my outlap. I mean that was faster than I thought I get motion sick xD

@@R9naldo Yeah. Ever since the hybrids have come along, only 2 teams and 3 drivers have won championships in 10 seasons. In the 10 year spell Schumacher dominated F1 from 1994-2004, we managed to still get 4 drivers and 4 teams winning championships. And it very easily could have been 6 drivers if Irvine and Raikkonen won in 1999 and 2003 respectively. The only driver and team to even get within a barge poles distance between Hamilton or Verstappen is Vettel and Ferrari.

In assetto corsa you have to turn on penalties for jump starts or it won't work, assumely so you can't just jump the start for free

I despise the F2000 V10 from RSS it is super snappy on oversteer. There is no correcting or catching it. If you go sideways under braking you will go round. If you have oversteer under change of loads, it will go round. If you have poweroverateer it will go round. It has no grip on the rear end, it is super sensitive on curbs its just a nightmare. I hate it. Whatever I tried with it I didn't work. I even went into the game files, to do more in depth work on the rear setup. It did not work. I cannot push it.

You need at least one sensor/beacon to get the headset to track (assuming we're talking about Rift or Vive. WMR doesn't use external tracking). You don't need the controllers for racing games, your hands will be on the wheel anyway.

@@darryIl Rift+single sensor is what i use as well. I have second sensor and the controllers, but they're collecting dust most of the time, since I mainly use Rift for racing. The only catch is that if you don't have controllers, you'll need either an XBox One controller or an Oculus remote (both come with the Rift) to enter the menu when you want to recenter your view, or change volume etc.

Depends on your budget but IMO a thrustmaster t300 with pro pedals is a good one, since it has good ffb, affordable/wheels can be swapped if you want to and you can add a handbrake and a stick shifter without much hussle.
