Good on the Brits for testing characteristics of different sail combinations while they had a safety margin - and still winning the dogfights and drag races up and down. The Swiss were great, great competitors. Things didn’t break their way this time, but they’ll be back! Rooting for American Magic but Luna Rossa is a true phenomenon and will be tough. Things certainly didn’t break their way today, one could say, but wow, what a show when these two boats are on the course together! The dogfights, the drag races, these boats are Formula racing at its finest.

Luna Rosa & American Magic have been so exciting to watch all 7 races have been nail biters really great to see 2 evenly matched boats going at each other at 30-40 knots. Good luck both teams tomorrow I’m getting up at midnight to watch in NZ again so excited.

Americas Cup would be smart to hire Matt to do their reporting next go around . Reporting , questions and opinions are top notch …. The official Cup site is a mess. American Magic has shown some real guts with Tom leading the charge ….. tactically he and Lucas were brilliant today . Tomorrow should be outstanding …. The winner of this Semi will be taking on the Kiwi’s in the Final.
