When, what to my wondering eyes should appear, the very first video I see is a chicken thigh roast, which is perfect for an easy Sunday night dinner. Chef, I've watched every video of yours and recreated many of your recipies. I have always enjoyed cooking but I have learned to LOVE cooking because of you. You have shown me many new techniques, introduced me to new (and old!) recipes and ingredients, and always provide clear instructions for each ingredient and what they bring to the dish. You have been an invaluable resource and an amazing teacher for me and for countless others! My Dad made lemon chicken. I've made it many times (I'm a bit of an addict..). I've got all his recipes and some he made up for me long before he died. one day (or 5 years) I'll go through all of them. He was a true gourmet chef, a gourmand and he loved French food but never stopped there and cooked from all cuisines. He had one rule, you have to try it but you don't have to eat it if you don't like it. His sons were exposed to every type of food on the earth. The only dish I had that he never made was schnitzel from The German Cafe in Sierra Vista Az of all places! as sad as it is, I'm glad I live 900 miles away or I'd weight 900 lbs! Funny he never made it because he did a good bit of German cooking. Not German but Welsh, comes to mind, he did a bier rarebit that makes my mouth water remembering it.
