The Oden and Ryokugyu silhouettes are so hype, can't wait to see them! Chapter was good. I'm personally not to invested in Yasu emotionally, but he went out like a real one, and Orochi + Kaido have to get their asses whooped at the end of Wano. I am not sure who wrote the Databooks before, nor do I know if Oda actually writes the Vivre Cards himself. Even if he does, my argument is still valid, as Oda also approved of the previous Databooks as there has been new information. Otherwise we should consider all Databooks to be nothing more than fan fiction.

He could decide to go to Wano willingly, accepting Orochi's "invitation", when they tell him about Caesar creating the SMILEs for Kaido's army and about Momo eating his prototype fruit. It's sad that Yasu had to die, he was such a lovable character. I hope his death wasn't in vain. The rat that gave out the plans still isn't caught (my personal thought was it was Kyoshiro, since he caught that leaflet that fell from Komurasaki's kimono), and Orochi isn't going to rest for sure, even though he is losing all his allies and digging himself a grave essentially, he still has some influence as a shogun. Would he really be ok with letting our allies go? As for Smiles and SAD - it's crazy, there is a meaning behind the way these were named, and it seems the materials were gathered in Wano. Nice how you pointed out that making of Germa had to do with emotions too. There is definitely a connection. But why only Ebisu folk, and the whole village to that? Or is it the village to dump all used people? Is there other villages like this one? And... Can their emotions be returned? I don't really see how it could be done...

Im starting to feel like game of thrones season 8. All the hype and for what? Kaido is a Dragon and King looks pretty cool. That's about it. Alexander D Zoro and sanji are gonna end up without a DF, zoro doesn’t need a DF to become yonko tier, he’s most likely going to end up with 3 black blades, kings haki, flying sword attacks, Max armament and observation haki, current zoro should be able to defeat a yonko 2nd mate, and zoro is no where near prime, I believe the next and final strawhat to get a DF will be Usopp, franky and nami do not need one, jinbe would never eat a DF, and only straw hat we saw eat a DF was luffy, and the strawhats want DF powers so if the opportunity gives, Usopp should take, I hope his DF power gives him flight, that’ll help him tremendously for sniping

We've seen like 3 silhouettes of Kanjuro and they all looked differently from his final appearance. He is probably also unsure how Oden and Ryokugyo are supposed to look like, so we only get silhouettes.

Its been a while since somebody has died on-screen in One Piece. Very nice speech of Yasu, Zoro's anger, Kumorasaki revealing the Smile Fruits identity more. Overall a dark chapter, but so well done. And after all this time, what does Yasu get? He dies before his 'smiling daughter in tears and the people who consider him their Buddha. Not even sadness was witnessed during his death after all this. From the outside. Goddamn... Oda. Goddamn.

We all said how horrible of a father Yasu is for "selling his daughter to prostitution". but in retrospect, that doesn't even seem like half truth any more. he did his best to protect his daughter from the horrible life in ebisu. I believe he has known komurasaki since her birth and he may have helped raise her when she lost contact with kawamatsu. so he trusted his daughter in her hands.

Another break? Goda the lazy. I love these super long buildup chapters like Alabasta and Dressroasa, but the one thing Wano is missing is that with all the extreme hype from even Oda himself, there's no big drops. Alabasta had firefist Ace and the warlords vs the kingdom and Robin and the intro of ponyglyphs and ancient weapons. Dressrosa had Sabo showing up, getting Aces fruit, Fujitoras intorduction, Doflamingo DF reveal, fights on screen, Law and Corazon epic backstory, a fight for the ages, Gear 4, etc....this is just been a Kaido Dragon reveal, off-screen fights we all wanted to see like Sanji (finally) vs page 1 with raid suit, a 1 shot Kaido knocking out Luffy, then a circus in the prison with a small appearance from Kid while thr circus continues, deformed smile characters, Big mom showing up half force just because a few commanders lost tough fights, getting one shotted and losing her memory and turning into a buffoon, and Orochi the wierd 8 head snake, and too many characters to keep track of. I dont care for Wano so far. The pace needs picked up a bit even if it does need the build-up for it to epic as hell. We still got Elbaf, raftel, reverie outcome, dragon, Blackbeard, Akainu, Greenbull reveal, and so much more story to cover. I dont wanna be trying to follow One Piece at age 50.
