People keep thinking Joyboy and Luffy are the same person but forget that Momo was mistaken for Kaido despite being a whole different color. It's not reincarnation, it's the Devil Fruit awakening that makes Luffy look so similar to Joyboy

In fact we know less now than we did before in a way. Before it was almost certain that Joyboy was a user of the gum gum fruit. But thanks to Bonney the line's been blurred. He could have had Chopper's fruit for all we know... **ahem** anyway...

It'll be interesting to find out why all Joyboy's allies, Emet, Zunesha, The Sea Kings and others all communicate via the Voice of All Things. I still believe its the souls of the people of the Ancient Kingdom inside them, but could be wrong. It's something thats being brought up once again, and feel like its going to be extremely important soon.

@@manoknowfish franky literally studied vegapunk tech during the ts. So for him to do practically nothing during egghead and not even have a memorable exchange of dialogue with vegapunk is extremely disappointing.

@@kingmanga8575 I mean he did fanboy over Vega and all that and tbh even though he studied from his old stuff it isnt as relevant to Franky. Most of TS stuff is relevant only through power-related stuff. It definitely would be nice to get more deep connection and scenes between the two, but it is different than Usopp relationship with giants which is directly connected to his character and dream.

@@anaDportgas I’d agree that usopps being a major factor in elbaf is far more anticipated than franky meeting vegapunk. But trying to diminish the importance of franky learning from vegapunks tech as only being relevant “through power related stuff” is disingenuous. Fanboying over vega doesn’t really cut it. Franky has done next to nothing in an arc that revolves around science and technology. Instead (like most of the ts) Oda has riddled the arc with a large amount of side characters making it hard for the straw hats outside of the monster trio to really shine. Wouldn’t be surprised if the same happens in elbaf. I hope I’m wrong. But with how badly most of zoros plot lines were handled in wano I don’t have much hope for usopp in elbaf.

@@kingmanga8575 I get what you mean I also wished Franky would do more and his knowledge and connection would be explored better. A lot of characters are a problem of Oda, but because we already know many giants he wont need to focus on them as much so it could leave more space for Usopp. Even if it became very Shanks focused arc, Usopp also got his connection to his father there. It cant be just skipped it is all too important. If Oda would ignore these connections like he did between Franky and Vega it would not be just a problem, but serious bad writing, so I have little more faith in this case. Also, East Blue 5 usually are treated better than rest of crew so it gives Usopp some more hope for at least having a good Elbaph moments.

Luffy will probably ask Shanks about it in passing on Elbath prob. That's when he will tune in and listen to Shanks break down the story about Joyboy and how Roger the King, his friend Shirahoshi and the robots he just witnessed connect to his devil fruit

Morj two theories…. First what if the only actual gorosei that is actually there is Saturn since the rest were “summoned” maybe it was just their shadows like what was shown when Cobra died. Which would imply maybe the gorosei have limited healing factors like the slow regeneration from Saturn but then since venus is a shadow he recovered quickly. This would also explain why they’re just getting tossed around truly and not making a big impact. Number two: what if they egg that roger had was left at laughtale since they couldn’t use it at that moment which would imply that roger went to soon…. Also would explain why all of a sudden shanks wants to go after the one piece since “the time”/ “tides” are right

I don’t like it if somehow Luffy was the same Joyboy from 800 years ago. This severely limits the world building and robs us of a unique character in the process while putting Luffy on an even higher pedestal than he already is.

8:03 I thought back then that Enel would invade Mariejois during the Levely. I thought he was looking for Fairy Vearth and I thought the moon was just a red herring as the people there eventually left. Maybe the real Fairy Vearth was actually the Blue Sea. And so he would descend. And then he would learn about this gods of the Blue Sea. And they are in Mariejois. And so to become the new god of the Blue Sea, he would invade Mariejois with his crew (maybe Urogue would join him). It would make for a reasonable excuse for Sabo to escape when he came to a dangerous territory. Maybe we can see the most awaited Kizaru vs Enel fight. But of course, Kizaru was not his aim so it would just be a momentary fight. Because Enel would be used as a hype tool for Imu. God vs God. Enel would lose of course.

I wouldn't die on this hill but if someone betrayed luffy i think it'd be Robin. The scene where Kuma asks the crew to betray Luffy, Robin doesn't say anything or even take a fighting stance. She's just silent straight faced. When this scene is recalled again in egghead, Oda redraws the SHs of that moment and it's apparent again that Robin stands out. She's not an emotional person but it's still weird to do and say literally nothing here

I think the person who ate the Nika Human Human fruit name was Binks. “Joyboy” Binks “Straw hat” Luffy This Binks guys was the first pirate What if Binks awakened the Nika Fruit and he also happened to change things permanently? I’m tryna say Binks created the first ever Giants , Luffy forced Kaido body to inflate remember ? What if Binks made Zuneisha inflate , Made people of his home , Elbaf Inflate, Making his crew into giants in order to be the strongest force on the planet And like aokji and lava guy His effects became permanent. The giants we see today are descendants of Joyboy Binks crew Logia effected the environment Zoan should effect the human Becoming giants permanently affected their lifespan, their genetics so that their kids ended up as giants as well . It said in punk hazard the world gov has been tryna create giants for centuries Prolly because they want to copy what joyboy did in the war due to his overwhelming strength Why introduce the whole lineages /blueprints of devil fruits , Giants and the awakenings all in the same arc? If they don’t all connect . And why stop there ? Man, I hope Oda didn't just prematurely reveal that the One Piece is some mystical story-telling object. He's been bordering on spoiling the finale this whole arc lol. I guess that would explain the Roger Pirates' reaction to it, but that was still only a theory. When Rayleigh said that Roger heard voices, I assumed he was talking about the Poneglyphs, but "purest source" sounds more exotic.
