As a Votann collector, I was very disappointed when I first saw these new miniatures; I really didn't like them the first time I saw them. Now that I see how you paint them, I find them very charming. You have the talent to make miniatures that I don't like, appealing. Well done!

These ones have the most Rock and Stone feel to them yet. I'm not even a fan of the Votann, since I feel that they are rather shoehorned in with no actual lore purpose just like the T'au, and even I want to paint up a squad.

The Rahkarth Flesh holster is so good and not something I ever would have considered. Definitely something to iterate on. I also really appreciate how you do the little arm and head swaps on the preview copies. So many people build them as stock which always annoys me because I like seeing the varients!

I like the missing knife - lends some storytelling to the model. As if he's out on extended recon and lost it along the way. Mistakes into miracles!

The thing I like about painting is the vast difference in ability doesnt detract from the enjoyment of painting. My dusplay quality is nowhere near as good as that. But i still enjoy painting.

i hold my breath, use a tiny brush and hope for the best.

for the missing knife, take a necron head (or any head really) and put a knife through it, and stick it on the base ^^

its just Vallejo hull red sprayed over the black plastic base. With a little vallejo dark red ochre pigment smooshed on.
