Beautiful way to wake up on Sunday. I would have grabbed all that furniture!! This is my creative weekend - cans of DIY paint everywhere, 15 or so paint brushes laying out, scissors, fabric, exacto knives, creative supplies here and there and lots and lots of doggie fur!! Finally working on my furniture -so much to do and I have been going back and forth to older videos to learn how to blend and inspiration. Armoire almost done - blue to salty kiss and blended - tried stencils-nope - repainted - blended - now fabric - still more to do but some white fur baby is demanding a sunrise beach walk now. Dining room table is next then to start on the 4 dining room chairs I thrifted - reupholstering them a blend of Chair Whimsy and Debi….whole dining room makeover. Cousin is coming for visit on 17th so got to have it all looking good. Loved waking up to all of you!

Happy days! To learn how, just start. Buy some garment made of cotton at a thrift store. Wash it well and then sit down with some paints and paint a freehand garden or flower border. Worst case, you throw it away. Best case, you discover a new adventure and fun life activity. Happy creativity!

I do love your videos, and I'm disappointed when sometimes you don't post them. I do not know exactly what it is in particular, but listening to your stories, seeing your creative spaces, your projects, your family gatherings just lifts my mood. At the moment my clay is drying on my mason jar. I didn’t want quite a much cracking but now I need to go looking for other moulds to add. August 2nd!!! That’s my birthday!!🥳 🎉 lol What an audacious day it is! I think I know the stencil sneak peek, and I love it! Lol. What a nice birthday present this will be. The gold foil I love so much, but I had the same problem even w curing the paint. I think it’s the nature of the beast-it will be imperfect. The white I love as is! Please don’t ruin the look of it. If it gets dirty, tea stain it and where it granny vintage. Do the Jackson Pollack on something less pretty. ❤

How many washes do the stamp inks last on the jeans? LOVE the look!!

Heat set the ink with iron. Throw in the dryer on high for a while as well. Ink on fabric that does not have downy in it. I say most times permanent. But I have had fabric that it washed out. No guarantees. I have used DIY Paint as well same story. Totally worth the gamble and so fun!

Debi, Know u r a woman of your own mind but an FYI, as I bet suggestions have been made for a better adhesive that allows you less waiting time. 'Titebond, Quick & Thick' & 'Weld Bond' allows firm adhesion without slipping or need of tape. Just a suggestion to help you move on with ur day.
