I keep coming back to this video as it is an excellent example of options for campers that are actually usable in off road environments. Really enjoy the guys and your content dave.

Thanks for taking us along on the trip and snoopin on ur buddies campers 🤙👍 PS- you only get 15mpg? I thought you had 2.7l twin turbo and got like 18-20mpg 🤔
@EndgameCampers2 ай бұрын
Regarding gas mileage: 15 was the blue truck with the 5.0. I didn’t reference my gas mileage, but I have the 3.5 twin turbo. I got 17mpg on this trip.

@@EndgameCampers woah thats great mileage 👍

It’s nice once you get in the pop up, but like the English homes with short ceilings, I don’t like to constantly duck, lol. Great concept though, to be aerodynamic. Thanks Dave, great video

Yes. I am thinking of purchasing a pop up. I live in a town tha 9:47 t has the Adlar franchise. I am go
@markwhitaker12822 ай бұрын
. . . .that has one. I am going to see if tech. can figure out how a full size ( 5 ft. 8 or 9 in. ) door can be constructed. It will need to be hinged and the fabric top be zippered or velcroved. The hard sided pops have their solutions.

I live in St George Utah I seen you on highway 18 the other day guessing that's where you must have been camping? There's a lot of good camping places around here. You camper looks really nice in person

@@EndgameCampers I saw his video when he picked it up. People should know that Capri Campers has vendors in different locations. You don’t necessarily have to go to Bluff Dale Texas.

Enjoyed the presentation you give of these campers. Do you have any thoughts on the Capri's swamp-box ac. unit in terms of the stability of how its mounted? Guessing it weighs 30-40ish lbs and wondering how you think it would hold up over time going over rough and bumpy backcountry roads? Also I didn't notice any weatherproofing around it. Kinda scratching my head on how well thought out that is....
@EndgameCampers2 ай бұрын
It’s not my camper, so I don’t have direct experience nor did I look at it in detail. However, my friend likes it and hasn’t had any issues. I appreciate your question. Have a good one!

Dave thanks so much sir for this most interesting video! Great comparison here sir and I really enjoyed it! Your camper is awesome and the other two are really nice as well. I am thinking of a used 6.5 Alaskan or a Capri Cowboy. But again, your builds are most interesting to me. Have u seen an Alaskan in person?

Actually I have. Very interesting concept. I appreciate your compliments my friend. Much appreciated! Best of luck on your search.

Dave, how does he like his Bougerv inverter, or has it been long enough to give a review? Thanks buddy
@EndgameCampers2 ай бұрын
Not long enough yet, but I really like BougeRV stuff. I would be surprised if it didn’t work out well.
@jerrytalley8022 ай бұрын
Dave, thanks. I finally/temporarily gave up building my own battery/solar/inverter setup when I saw the portable solar “generators”, on sale during prime deals, about 50% off some. I bought an Anker Solix f2600. 2600 watts, 2800 surge which is a little under what I would prefer, but trying to COMPROMISE. as you would say.Larger equals heavier. The next size up on some units, go over 100 pounds. In the day, 1986, I would have laughed that off at 27 years old, 155 lbs body weight, my bench press was 285. Now, a push up is hard at 64, lol. As the all in ones get better and less expensive, I think all that goes into building solar/battery/ inverter from scratch is getting somewhat less practical? You have adopted the all in ones and seem to keep going back to that? I think my f2600 is 80 some pounds with wheels, but I can lift to put in a truck or camper. As always, great videos
