ONE YEAR LATER: The Salsa Cycles Mukluk

It's time to share my thoughts on the Salsa Cycles Mukluk fatbike after a full year riding the streets and trails in the north suburbs of Chicago. I purchased this bike from GoodSpeed Cycles in November 2020 and it's been a great way to mix things up instead riding indoors all winter. That's a great question, I have not noticed any but I'll have a closer look the next time I take it out on a ride

Hey Tom did you ride the Palos system in the snow? How was it? Pack down pretty good or is it mostly mud

Yes I did last winter, it wasn't super packed down when I went because it had snowed the day before. Ideally you want more people to have walked and packed down the trail before riding it

I have no idea what are alternator drop outs. And I own this Bike.

😆 it allows you to adjust the wheelbase length for a different ride feel

nice..........tubeless is the way to go..........fatty strippers work great on Mulefut rims

What is it with Bicycle brands that they're so cheap, they cannot install a $20 pair of lock-on grips? What's gonna happen is some family member of a politician is gonna get hurt when the grips slide-off, and legislation will be passed making-it mandatory for all bikes to have lock-on grips. It's a wimpy $20 item, ya cheap bastards!
