One year has passed since I've uploaded my first lesson here on KZbin. So I thought it's time to put a video with important excerpts from those lessons together. It's good to refresh your knowledge, but I am sure there are some parts in it that you haven't seen already. Enjoy!
@andraskoleszar97595 жыл бұрын
Hey, I haven't seen your video about the powerful draw shot before, but in this video you mention that the bridge length should be shorter for more follow-through. This was very surprising to me because I could never get enough acceleration on the cue on such a short distance, and even though my follow-though was longer I couldn't hit the cueball with enough speed. What do you suggest I should do?
@SBRbugol5 жыл бұрын
What type of cue do you use i mean brand?
@Sharivari5 жыл бұрын
@@andraskoleszar9759 If you use a closer bridge length you could extend your backswing. But as mentioned in the video timing is much more important. So don't put it too close. You still have to be able to strike the cueball when your cue is moving the highest speed.

Great lessons. I know about English Positional shots. The parts you forgot is show on here is #1. Aiming your ball directly by putting tip of cue stick pointing Center of pocket. Overlapping Object Ball. As you notice. The shadow over the stick . That is where you can hit in that area of Object Ball and make object ball in center of pocket. Also position your cue stick directly behind the object ball. Like your going to hit object ball in pocket. Take notice where cue stick is placed when your pretending to shoot object ball. Clearly shows where to hit object ball by hitting it with cue ball. #2. Show Zone shot. Zone shot is where cue ball will be after shooting object ball. #3. Tangent shot is making sure your cue ball is in position for next shot. Too far to right or left is not leaving you a next shoot on following object ball.

At 10:50 when you over-cut the nine because it’s overthrowing... You can prevent that by aiming to make the shot and then apply front hand english for first tip and then the rest is backhand english. This allows the needed deflection to cause a thicker hit and you will love it!

I started playing pool in September 2019 and since then ive watched a lot of your pool videos along with others....dam is pool a tough sport! tough to practice if you dont have easy access to table, tough to master stroke and different spins...dealing with the "random" aspect (breaks, cloth speed etc) I guess what im saying is that it takes a lot of time and I cant wait to see where im at in 1 year

I like the effort you put in to pack a lot of good information into a short video. It reminds me of the ZeroX videos. NOTE: At 28:43 we don't get to see the correct shot. (I am guessing he would hit the cue ball with right English and slight draw so it bends to the side rail on top of screen, then hits the right short rail, then side rail on bottom of screen, sending the cue ball to stop in line for the next ball.)

I really appreciate the little pool ball icon on the screen fo every shot to demonstrate where you are striking the cue ball. Extremely helpful. Honestly, I hate that music, however. Hi Sharivari, Do you use balance rite extension? Isn´t it making the cue too long? What is the advantages with using such an extension? Awesome video btw! :)
@Sharivari5 жыл бұрын
Hi. I did use it for quite a while, but not anymore. Used it because I am pretty tall, but imo it changes the balance and behaviour of the cue too much. Finesse shots are harder to play, stun shots much easier.

Enjoy your detailed instruction, but it seems to me that all begins with the tip of the que stick in its proper place and shape,can u do a segment on the proper way to care and adjust the que tip for better que. ball controll
@Swampnutz103035 жыл бұрын
Well one thing is the dime rule that the tip have the curvature of a dime, and I've found that to work really well. Scuffing the tip with a tapper tool while chalked helps the tip hold the chalk better, dont let the tip mushroom too much if at all, keep that under control but that just depends on the type of tip. The tip on my Mezz shaft hasn't deformed at all over the past few years of use, I don't remember the name of the tip that's installed on it.

I'm going to need to watch and correct all of you; it seems; you do not plan three shots ahead; you plan it all and fix all your problems as you are cleaning the rest as so that they are free by the time that you have to put those in too. What are you thinking???; Plan three shots ahead and what if four are tied up and your three play balls are potted? Huh what then?; you might lose if that is what you are doing.

There is only one way to gain one year of pool knowledge. Play every day for a year. End of story.
@plzitzjustmahcheezits9094 жыл бұрын
Work smarter, not harder. When the theory is presented to you and you intake it and practice it, a year’s worth of knowledge could easily be digested in a smaller amount of time. I know people who’ve played for 3 years not be able to run out racks consistently while players who’ve played for 5 months run out rack after rack. Simply knowledge and application of knowledge.
