I remember a few years ago when people were complaining about the opposite (prob not the same exact people). But it goes to show you can't please everyone. I like the balance you are trying to strike (and the simple color combos as well)

At least the pants are long enough. To many guys on here selling short long pants. A couple inches above your shoe tops, my mom used to call them high water pants. Most outfits are to dressey for me. Jeans, long sleeve ts and then a flannel or sweater over it. And the hoodie also.

Love the 3rd look. As someone who actually wen to fashion school, I don’t understand how that look would ruffle someone’s feathers unless they don’t know fashion history. It’s basically how men would dress back in the 30’s and 40’s, tho a modern interpretation, which are my favorite periods besides the 70’s and the 90’s. Think Mafia… people are just ignorant, uneducated and brainwashed by patriarchy and toxic masculinity.

All these styles and not one Henley, I'm offended... what's up? Is it because of how hard a henley is find or is it just where I live? It's easy to find every style of shirt on the rack except that. Even when you find it a place might not carry much options so online it is. Any time I see buttons or a collar I wonder if a henley wouldn't have been better. It's a basic shirt for sure but it's different to the point of being uncommon (outside baseball). Casual is always a crew neck, maybe a V, or some type of collared piece. No matter how it's styled a button down is a button down and collars will keel over and sag someday. With that there's only so much we can do with a collar and there's no hope once it sags, replace all that shirt because of a collar. There's some perception biases (my own) that I can see working against people when it comes to button downs. Simply because another person might not be aware not all button downs are to be tucked. Like outfit #6, It's a casual fit but there's an old man in me that wants to say tuck in that shirt. Outfit #5 could be pulled off with a heavy knit henley and hits more when you bunch the sleeves. Same with #7 a black henley sweater w/ dark buttons or amber. Majority of these outfits are layered, nothing wrong with that but a few of them change a lot when the top layer comes off. The shirt underneath by itself is either too much or not enough. It sounds reasonable that an outfit degrades as parts of it are removed, but I think when it comes to layers an outfit can maintain if the layers themselves are dynamic enough. Like #7, lose the jacket and it's just a black sweater with jeans. But if it were a henley... IDK lol. (I realize how judgy I'm sounding and it's partially to entertain myself). I think the word versatility is somewhat underused. A piece of clothing is versatile if it can fit many occasions, but it should also be able to be dynamic in those occasions. In a way I think of buttons and collars as accessories because of how a henley stands out without them. The collarless look catches the eye better than a collared look and the few buttons stand out more than a full suite. Polos will never not look like a work shirt and unlike Pokemon, avoid the shiny ones. My personal issue with collars and why I prefer styles without them is it's another piece to think about. It's just not part of the shirt, even though it's on it. Because the state of it affects the whole outfit, it's a built in accessory. For buttons, a button down cannot do with all those buttons what a henley does with 2 or 3 or no buttons just a cut. This has been my pitch for more Henleys lmao!

Do women actually find this style attractive? If you're skinny, you end up looking like a little kid wearing his Dad's clothes. If you're fat, they make your body look even bigger. It's something I've never understood about this whole "Japanese/90's Fashion trend." Can't wait for it to be over

I keep saying it in all the videos but you need to watch the pants and shoe relation. These sneakers are killing the looks, they’re too chunky with your jeans that are good but they are too long sitting on top of the sneakers.
