Just to add; The thunder warriors were killed in the final battle and the destruction of the Last church on Terra. The Emperor knew that the thunder warriors were from the past and would not fit into the world he was trying to create. Thunder warriors were techno barbarians that were rumored to be stronger than current day Space Marines. The remaining thunder warriors ran for their lives and hid in the undercities of Terrra. Thunder Warriors took place following the victory of the last battle of Unity. It is not known who carried out the cull, though the only warriors in the Imperial forces at this time capable of the deed were the Emperor's elite personal bodyguards amongst the Legio Custodes and the proto-Legions of the early Space Marines. Though some Thunder Warriors successfully escaped the cull, the vast majority of those who survived the Unification Wars died at the hands of their own allies. Individually or in small groups - like the self-stylized Dait’Tar present during the Cerberus Insurrection -- some Thunder Warriors would survive, living mostly anonymous and miserable lives amongst the population, all honours of the past forsaken, always fearful of being discovered. Fortunately for these survivors, the Imperium, believing them all dead, never truly sought to hunt them down, as all efforts were by now concentrated on the progress of the Great Crusade.

It always bothered me that space marines shot bolters with heavy ammunition, fighting a galatic sized war, especially tyranids or orks, the marines will be useless pretty quickly as they run out of ammo. The only way that it makes sense is if their bullets launch mini nukes. Instead, the marines ammunition should be plasma shots, from a cartridge that can last 100,000 rounds before changing.

We do not know how the bolts they are firing are manufactured. It could be that their own powerarmour is capable of manufacturing "unlimited" number of ammunition. Since the level of technology of the Imperium of Man is far beyond our imagination, it is possible that they are capable of using raw energy to produce materials out of seemingly thin air which even our own low understanding of physics says is theoretically possible.

Yes, including their armours which are based on the armour designs of various European knight orders. The entire premise is also based on the Catholic Inquisition, Crusades and the insane desire to "purge the heretics" which ultimately led to colonisation of other nations in the name of God. The "God-Emperor" is the equivalent of the Popes who were sitting on their "throne" and had the power to excommunicate entire nations and call for crusades against them. We can only hope that humans will grow out of this dumb belief in some gods and desire to murder others in the name of some imaginary beings.

When ya out in the field & have to take a emergency head call what do you do, hell do you just shit & or piss in your power armour it seems like work to take it off & put back on again while under fire, i mean lets get real here, OR is there sanitation compartments in the butt & groin section of the suit.??? 😏

Are these Power Armour Suits also space suits with attached fighting armour, & i do notice jet packs on the suits too, so can they be also zero grav environmental space suits if the need arises, & from reading the 1st Heretic i have the impression there both, UC when the capt of the serrated sun legion word barer div's Argel Tal releases his helm or helmet seals before depressurizing his pwr armour is what lead me the impression that there basically armoured space suits, so do anyone here knows this as fact about the WH universe Power Armour I,g. because I'm just starting to read the novels which to me is a good action packed Sci/Fi opera house epic. 👽
